Hi Guys, I have just ordered a Electric Blue Vezel S. Due to arrive January 2016.

I noticed that the S version does not have tweeters, looked at the dashboard and A columns and I could not find any tweeters. Any bros fixed a tweeter. Pictures would be nice.

Yup

Any good PI agent to recommend?

Hi Bro,

You can try the Big PI like Hup Long, VinCar, Leco ........ to have a piece of mind.

I bought both my cars (Wish in 2005 & Vezel in 2015) from them and so far no problem.

You should avoid JDM as there are a lot of negative feedbacks from Vezel FB.

Autolink is my choice.. Hassle free and Honest in dealing.

I'm first timer buying a new car from PI. Booked and collected my ride after 3.5months. [thumbsup]

My Cur arrived at Pasir Panjang on monday 2th November. Still awaiting custom clearance. Was hoping I can get it his week but that won't happen. Anyway, I have documented my journey on self import Vezel S so far so for the ones that are interested they can refer to this doc. Also for the people that buy from PI it gives a good insight in what is going on at every stage.

Any comments on improvements welcome. Will be continued after receive car.

I am one of the "dumb" guys who bought HRV from KM :)

My decision was based on:

Part 1

Selling price difference ($12k); was quoted 111-112k for Vezel and 123k for HRV LX Premium

Scrap Value difference ($7k).  HRV $11k+ versus Vezel $4k+

Subtotal of Part 1 is $5k in favour of Vezel.

Part 2

KM offers 3 years parts and service free.  I guess it is worth at least $3000 for me since i will average 80k km in 3 years

Loan saving at KM versus PI should be (0.4%*60k*5yrs)= $1200.  In my case KM allowed me not to take any loan versus some horrendous interest rate I heard from PI (in my calculation, I use 1.88% for KM and 2.28% for PI)

Insurance and road tax subsidy by KM: $300 + $400 (I assume PI gives 6 mth free. KM gives first year free) = $700

Subtotal of Part 2 is $4.9k in favour of HRV

Total of Part 1 and 2: $100 in favour of Vezel.

Other consideration:

1. HRV older engine

2. HRV 17" rim and tire (actually not important to me)

3. The model I bought has paddle shift but doubt i will use it.....

4. Vezel better LED interior and ECON model etc etc

5. KM service center is just 10 mins drive from my place....

Above is just for info and another angle from a "dumb" guy who bought the HRV from KM.  In my case, I probably paid 1-2k more since I may not take any loan (maybe even 4-5k more if can Vezel at 107k)......In any case, KM got my COE at 57k+

Interesting, so you paid additional GST based on the local valuation? The Singapore customs should not do that. It is a the correct valuation based on the CIF price of the supplier, why would they question that.

Do keep up the updates. Seems like its an interesting process. Any chance to get it covered by warranty locally?

hi fellow vezels,

I would be meeting up with a couple of PIs this Monday. very very very likely will sign on the dotted line.

check with you, anyone whose PI provide 'Roof rails' as part of their freebies? If not where can I find and install this in Singapore.

thanks in advance.

btw I will be getting maroon colour X model.

try and get the best price stock and mod yourself later outside.

Depending on why you want the rails for.. if it's just for looks, the usual online sites will have.

If you want to mount your bike, get proper ones from Thule.

JDM is just JdM or any long name?

Top on the list:

https://www.facebook.com/JDMCarsPteLtd

Their Vezel Page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1388154321509304/

If you are looking for positive posts or reviews, just visit them. But if you're looking for negative feedbacks, don't bother, because you simply won't be able to find any.

My advice, join the FB group which is not moderated by PI but some really helpful vezel owners

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SGVezelHRVClub/

Take note: In the FB page, you can find both positive & negative reviews. Some may regret joining the FB groups because poisonous content is Extremely High. So join at your own risk!

Bro I think u forgot to state this.

HRV made in Thailand. Vezel made in Japan.

I didn't really compare them myself but it's been mentioned every time these 2 are brought out for comparison. I've seen the KM Mobilio. Made in Thailand. Doesn't impress me at all.

1 more pt to add, for car trade in, normally AD would provide a better quote than PI.

If your previous ride is from KM as well, they will deduct another 1000 too.

Also regarding your part1. Selling price difference of 12K today against scrap value difference of 7k.

I would take that 12k difference today. Who knows how inflation is going to be like 10 years from now. 7k 10 years later might be worth much lesser already.

But well just my own thoughts and analysis. I'm sure everyone has their reasons for getting their preferred ride and end of the day, we enjoy our new ride!

Hi Terminator 2015

Is it true then that hrv cruise control is not limited at 110kph?  If yes, then this is a plus for hrv when travel on nshw cos it seems vezel's cruise is limited to 110 kph and not sure if this limit can be removed.
