Akszaksz 2nd Gear December 17, 2015 Share December 17, 2015 Hi, btw I request to install front sensor with switch activation type. The SE ask me to top up $100 for that. Is it reasonable for that? I feel my SE very stingy and calculative haha What he include for me so far: 1. I road front and back camera I think basic model AEV. (V7 or V9 might have to top up.) 2. Pioneer X2750BT (I am considering to top up for better version) 3. Boot cover, boot mat, 3M floor mat standard, vezel lighted scuff, audio steering (I Guess all this are the basic) 4. 100k standard servicing include EO That's about it. Did I miss out anything? Am I asking for too much? Or this is the basic must give? Haha On point 1 & 2, yes most PI who's price is not on the high side usually will requires you to top up if u wanna v7, v9, X5750 onwards. On point 3, not sure whether your SE includes tonneau cover too. you might wanna ask. hard or soft or retractable up to you. On your point 4, please take note. What EO the workshop gonna use? Do they have the EO you wanted? (In this case if you follow the forum & FB group, most actually on w20 or w30 and most workshop only have w40) Can you bring in your own EO if workshop don't have what you wanted? Do they charge you for bringing in your own EO? etc ↡ Advertisement
Vinzntonic 4th Gear December 17, 2015 Share December 17, 2015 lol driving through stripes... thanks for the advice man... any other way to reduce the "sway"? coz Vezel being SUV should have a higher CG.. hence likely should give a bad sway a compared to my previous Jazz ride.... not sure though... didn't get a chance to drive it yet.... Not sure about the suayness, no complains from passengers.. but bumpy.. yes
Andyngps 5th Gear December 18, 2015 Share December 18, 2015 I sat in Qashkai leh... like a bit more spacious than Vezel.... Still thinking of getting S or the Qashkai? Or maybe save money just get the X. hahahaha any opinions bros? Bro...the rear of qq is tighter. Overall not as spacious as vezel. It is just a launch booster. Basically "shortens" your accelerators activation point thereby giving you a feel that it is launching faster. Actually doesnt do anything else. Useless product imo. Wanna go faster? Understand your accelerator and where it bites your car's highest torque point and rpm At the end of the day, a vezel is a vezel. It aint about speed. It just a good commute car. Drive it relax and easy. Thats where you get most enjoyment Kinda agree. Somehow even with ethrottle our cvt kills it.
Andyngps 5th Gear December 18, 2015 Share December 18, 2015 Not sure about the suayness, no complains from passengers.. but bumpy.. yesGet rigid collar. I done soundproofing to my floor and rear trunk and all doors... In the end compared to those who do rigid collar, their road noise is comparable or even lesser than mine if on a set of good tyres.. You mean the new mazda 3? Eng is definitely quieter but road noise comparable if not slightly better only in my opinion.
hsl118 6th Gear December 18, 2015 Share December 18, 2015 Guys, Those who have driven Mazda 3 also, which one has better insulation and less road noise? Or both about the same? Have driven both. Vezel insulation > Mazda 3. Raised this last year with eurokar SE, response was oh this model can sell by itself so it's okay.
Melvincyc 1st Gear December 19, 2015 Share December 19, 2015 Have the same noise also, especially when car is idling... It's normal one. When u release the brake pedal, the shift Solenoid activated to lock to prevent accidental shifting of gear. Already not too bad liao. My previous Subaru makes an even louder noise. Alphaleesg 1st Gear December 19, 2015 Share December 19, 2015 Hi, can I ask? What happen to the PI cars when there is a universal recall? My current car is under AD..even though it is nine year old and no longer under warranty, they sent me a letter asking me to go back to replace a faulty part due to the major recall...and at no cost. So for PI car, how does PI handle huh? For those who own a Vezel hybrid, can provide feedback? Or can pm privately to tell me more. Thanks in advance. Dexton Neutral Newbie December 19, 2015 Share December 19, 2015 Hi guys, My PI said that vezel all come with tinted glass but I don't think that is so called the solar film right? I saw all the advertisement for vezel in car mart stating come with solar film? I assume the default tinted glass does nottin to block the heat? Is that right? My PI don't install solar film and he mention all owner install it ownself paid if they wanted vcool or other solar film. Is it better to have one or can live without it? Any recommendation? Thanks

Thanks Heard from couple of PIs and some Vezel owners that the rear windows are already tinted. So u can't add another layer of solar film else it would fail LTA requirements. Front windows and windscreen are less tinted and some PIs will throw in free solar film for you. Not sure about the quality though.

When it comes to universal recall, PI cars will not be included. That's the risk owners take. And if there is a problem, it is up to the warranty coverage T&Cs offered by the PI. Needless to say, owner will have to pay for parts replacement after warranty period. For e.g., Assuming there is the recall on the Honda Jazz due to whatever reason by Kah Motors, the Honda Fits equivalent from the PIs does not get the recall and replacement of the faulty part. Thanks Hi, Owned a Airwave and it comes with so-call tinted glass. Some JDM (PI) cars comes with so-call tinted glass are actually privacy glass. Yes they are darker to a certain extend but it does not block IR or UV penetration. I won't comment on Vezel since I do not know what glass it comes with. When it comes to solar film, there is actually clear shade film that blocks IR and UV, which it can be used on tinted/private glass (usually at the back windows of JDM/PI cars) thus not failing LTA requirements. If you have to park your car under sun often, it is better to have solar film installed due to the weather in SG. For me, it is always sheltered car park thus I do not think it is necessary for me. It depends on your personal preference.

For e.g., Assuming there is the recall on the Honda Jazz due to whatever reason by Kah Motors, the Honda Fits equivalent from the PIs does not get the recall and replacement of the faulty part. I owned several AD cars and have gotten recall where they have deemed as voluntary and not a risk to driveability and safety to others. So its up to the owner to do it or not. I think if the recall is major and would impact on the safety of the driver and other road users, the authorities will step in and request the AD to assist. Think this was what happened back then for the Toyota Wish. Given the risk and yet so many still buy cars from PI. Personally i rather take the risk and drive the car that i like then forcing myself to buy the car that i dont like from AD because i scare of recalls and warranty. This wont stop me from buying from PI unless the PI cant deliver my car. There are thousands of workshop in sg, dont tell me no one can fix a bread and butter jap car, as long as u can pay. Just go ahead and buy the car that u like. ↡ Advertisement
