I am hoping my PI will make good the defect too. 6 weeks ago, the SE inform me that his company has ordered the replacement part. There's been no news since. It could be a delay tactic and I anticipate that if I call him for update, he will tell me that it takes time, there are a lot of back order and theirs is in the Q, etc....

PS: Also, there no mentioned from anyone on local forums that their cars are fixed?

But to be fair, my previous ride was a Civic and there was an airbag recall. It took a year for AD to send me the letter (one and only letter) asking me to arrange to make appointment to have it fix. I receive the letter a month before my COE expire. So even AD takes so long.

Naturally we expect the PI to fix the problem but I don't think there is a law that states it is mandatory that PI fix all factory recall issues.

So as a owner, it's better to disable a faulty feature that does not work. I make it a point to disable it before I drive off but there are occasions that I forgot. That being said, the device might not be fully tested and is MIC, so it might have it's problem too.

Other solutions are available but there will be a red indicator on the screen indicating a fault with the auto start stop.

Bro did you go to Kah for your regular service?

Perhaps they couldn't locate you as the second buyer.. anyhow, it's good that it's fixed.

I have been going to Kah to service my car. Typically a fuss free experience, albeit more expensive but efficient.

Just saying. Touch wood.

If anything happen after you installed this mic box instead by PI.

Hi,

I am quoted $98,888 for Honda Vezel 2016 facelift and $103,888 for the hybrid version.

I believe that the hybrid version is CEVS grade A1 which means it has more tax reduction compared to the normal version. However, why isn't the hybrid version cheaper than the normal version?

Thanks foe the insight. Guess simple sound proofing may not solve the issue then.

Do you mean the noise level will be up again after a while with the sound proofing done? why?

Ya man, the stock tyres also create alot of noise,

thanks.

Not up again bro...but somehow my ears will sort pf adjust and not be satisfied. And i also realised that those who chose to keep the stock door panel wrap is a bit quieter...not sure if its because of the foam material used. In addition, the eng is loud...and im not sure if anyone has finally tried soubdproofing the firewall...

The module is a mere plug n play device where no wires were cut, if something goes wrong, simply remove it lah then act like nothing was installed Edited by Aswat

Not only kah. My previous ride from borneo also the same. They send me the letter six months before it was due to scrap. The best beat part that letter only serve as notification. When spare part come in they will inform me again. My ride 2nd may already scrapped. Hahaha i brought new from borneo in 06. Service the car till 6,7yrs.

Yup. Quite a few bros did including me. I would say overall 50% improvement but quite heavily sp (floor board, all doors, eng bat)..but after a while the joise will sort of get to you again. Go change tyres first to pilot st3 and you should already tell the difference.

Where to get the michellin 3st with the stock tyre profile. I can't find them in spore. Only XM2 got such profile.

The car itself is more expensive from Japan compared to petrol models

It should be something that switch the button once after you start the engine. I will ask of tan chong has something similar. Thanks.

Not to mention the dct. Unlike the rubberband cvt. Plus a quieter ride and better fc given our traffic. And with garment minimum rebate of $2.5k despite a higher cevs rebate...its a no brainer to get hybrid even at 5k more because technically yoy are paying lesser given the rebate, unless a year ago which hybrid was more than $10-$15k more. Yes, that is a valid reason. But I had a leaked radiator before and the outside workshop had to remove the battery when making the repair. The radio was locked and I had to call KH to get the code to unlock it. So they had me as the owner in their database.

But I have to say that I am happy with KH's service. My last 2 vehicles were both Honda and both 2nd hand. And I have not had bad experience getting support from them. If my Civic is due scrap end of this year, likely I would have paid a little more and get the HR-VS from AD.

I do not have the device but maybe Aswat have seen it.

But I agree with him, it is not rocket since. There's probably a time delay component that sends a signal to simulate someone pressing the idling stop off button. Looking at the picture (on internet), likely is low voltage, so I believe risk is minimum.

Being MIC, maybe it will not work after a few weeks/months/years but not likely it will cause damage to the vehicle.

When you have the brake hold on, isn't the auto start stop engine is disabled? Why need to buy extra device to disable this function?
