Ya with the coe rebate at 50k and price remain the same. This is really tempting me to jump in now.

But need to be sure that's the mij hrv :)

I know I have asked before, but if anyone is going to Kah, can everyone press them to bring in the hybrid?

If more people ask for it, maybe they will accede..

If the COE drops, I may consider.. right now I am hoping they bring in the hybrid. At 150 BHP, it will be a better match for a Civic..

I am willing to sacrifice a bit of handling and horsepower for the economy since I use it mainly in city driving these days.

Once or twice, I take it on the open road into M'sia... ah... the feeling is sweet...

They will quote u super high price which include the cost to test for emission to tell u politely they wouldn't bring in. That happened when I asked them to bring in jazz manual for me.

After 10 years, I finally walked into KM again.

Yes, its a Vezel in KM's HRV badge. 

All is the same except headlights slightly different.

Nope, i think is only 120BHP, as quoted by some of the guys earlier..

SE told me 130hp leh.

The SE told me that the new HRV have not officially passed some LTA inspections yet as no physical batches of HRV are here yet, Something like that. So its not an official brochure just yet. But he did say its almost exactly a MIJ Vezel except the headlights but sold as HRV under KM.

 

The rest of the package includes 5 years warranty, 7 free servicing, vcool, etc

Well, we can only try.. like the demand for the Vezel, it forced them to take the PIs more seriously and the end result is the HRV sourced from Japan :)

 

I will compare this with the Jade RS - the extra horsepower is tempting... did the NS highway recently and I did see my friend's 1.5l car struggle a bit..

Technically a Vezel except headlight different? So it still get the same halogen setup found in Vezel G model and the previous batch of HR-V?

 

What about engine start-stop, Honda sensing, auto fold side mirrors, flat underbody pieces, L15B DOHC 130bhp engine, 8 airbags?

 

Till date, I still find it very appalling that the OMV of a HR-V is higher than that of a mid range Vezel X model.

 

How does a car with LED headlights, 8 airbags, newer and more powerful engine, better safety equipment (previous facelift before Honda Sensing version that comes with CTBA) be cheaper than another car that comes without all of this??

 

Thailand production cost is higher than Japan?

The 1.5 L engine is quite a joke lar... it's good for sedate city driving. But once on open roads like the NS Highway, it will struggle badly... especially on the steeper sweeping inclines around the Genting area... even on our highways, it struggles to keep up if you need to pass at cruising speeds.

I wonder if the parallel importers play punk on the tax declaration. I also cannot understand how a better equipped car can have a lower OMV.

Vezel already sells very easily without turbo. If plus turbo...i think i will have a lot of difficulty finding my car in any carparks. Edited by Andyngps

HR-V basic package does not have boot light. Only premium model has. But all Vezel regardless basic or premium would come with boot light installed. That really pisses me off as KM wanna maximise profit and do away with essential thing. Just like what BM did to Vios as they did not come with aircon filter and its tray right from the start.
