To be fair, Honda Sensing is indeed an option. When I chose my RS version, HS comes with an addition of 1k. But now I think it will be a white elephant very quickly in our roads.

Which is why we must make sure we know the specifications of the model we intend to acquire well and the so called options...

Imagine that there are other PI which are advertising the same car with Honda Sensing, the PI is advertising the car as a facelift version which one of the main difference between the previous versions and the facelift versions is Honda Sensing...  Isn't this confusing to the end buyers?

This is just an advise to any potential buyer as you would not appreciate buying a car with lower specs when you are paying a higher premium

I agree with you on this. You'll feel like a sucker especially when you go for a meetup.

But the problem is, what actually comes standard with the face lifted(aka latest model). I'm also looking around and get many different feedbacks from different PI. Is there a list out there that states what comes as standard? Now I hear there is a 2017 model coming too...

This is a new version so technically there isn't a facelift... Anyway, my take is we must be careful and pose more questions so that u will know what you are paying for in terms of options etc [angel]

+1 arm yourself with a checklist and also the latest info. Do your due diligence, especially when buying from a PI.

They aren't our friends and it's a six figure purchase. It's probably the next most expensive thing we spend on apart from the house..

Hi all, Im driving vezel hybrid. I find the FC is not very accurate with the spec that they indicate. I only can get around 16.5km per L. I thought it suppose to be like about 18 to 20? Im still running in the engine so I did not high rev, plus moving off slowly when stationary.

Will it get better after I done the first 1000Km?

Bro, heard from some bro said on previous post, Vezel Hybrid road tax 1k+ plus/year?

I checked with some PI, some said $682, some said 1K+ for a year.

Lately get to know about the hevshop as I planning to get a hybrid vezel, a shop specialise for hybrid car wow! Get a hybrid car will be the most safe bet rite? But when I visit them, to my astonishing their list price in sgcarmart 108k is 6bid without guarantee with bidding cap at 45k (currently 56k), ridiculous rite? Then continue ask what is the guarantee price, 119k ð, 1 of the most expensive pricing for a vezel hybrid x in the market but with 10yrs/ 250k mileage battery warranty! How you guys think about their pricing? Personally I will look elsewhere cause I don't think a new hybrid battery do cost a bomb now ð

Watch out for those providing 10 years warrenty. Bottom line you need to service your car with them for 10 years.

My advise the shorter the warrenty period the better. Vezel so common almost most workshop can service/repair. Furthermore Honda badge..you don't need much major repair. Just normal servicing and replacement of wear and tear. Don't mod.

agree with kopites. i wouldnt want to get tied down to the warranty workshop for so long. one of the points to get a jap car is that parts are easily available. and more flexible for your car insurance too. else have to pay premium to your choice of workshop. worse scenario, the warranty workshop is sucky and overcharge you for stuff.

Can we change the Vezel headlight (halogen type) to the LED type? If yes, any idea which workshop has done it and around how much is the cost?

Vezel headlights are full LED. unless you are talking about highbeam which is still using halogen bulbs. Yes that can be swapped to an LED bulb. Perhaps those accessory workshop that deals with headlight bulbs etc can advice on which LED bulb to change to.

There is a Vezel G model which is the most basic model which comes with full halogen headlamp setup for lowbeam (same as the one found on the thai made KAH HRV). Not too sure if any PIs still bring in that model currently. It is possible to do a conversion for the entire headlamp housing. iirc its a plug and play. Just gotta source for the entire headlamp housing which I doubt is cheap.

$600 plus per year. If PI told you $1000 plus best you avoid them

Woah which PI so bad tell you road tax is $1000+.

I rather he tell you PARF is $2500.

Just curious but how did LTA calculate that your annual road tax to be $600+?

I used the LTA road tax calculator and was given $1,532 for 12 months road tax.

https://vrl.lta.gov.sg/lta/vrl/action/pubfunc?ID=EnquireRoadTaxByEngCap

Parameters used from Sgcarmart for Honda Vezel Hybrid (1.5A) X :

Engine specs :1,496 cc

Engine Power : 112kW

Why do you want to do that? The Vezel is all led and only high beam is halogen and more than sufficient for Singapore roads.

Unless you want to be an ah beng turn on white led high beams and make your car look like a moving Christmas tree.
