therock Supersonic January 11, 2017 Share January 11, 2017 BTW, is there a HRV/Vezel owners thread? any kind soul can redirect please. thanks This is it.. But I wonder why is it a sticky? Typically stickies are reserved for important info which gets buried if the info is not visible, such as in a sticky. If a thread is popular, it won't need to be a sticky as it will keep popping up in the top of the Jap car forum anyway or in the reminders of those subscribed to it..

Leo72 6th Gear January 11, 2017 Share January 11, 2017 1 uber vezel kena burnt at northstar at AMK this afternoon. The BBC unit catch fire Do you have any proof or confirmation that it's the BBC? Else later uber and the PI come after you for spreading false news which is damaging to them. (joking).

The compressor is belted to the engine, so only when engine is running, then it is possible to run the compressor. Kopites Posted Yesterday, 08:02 PM Anyone any idea. I remember reading somewhere that if remote battery is flat (or maybe low/weak), use key to open car door. To start engine, place the remote next to the Start/Stop button and press start button. But it did not mention if we have to keep the remote close to Start/Stop button after starting.... Also I have never try it myself. Saggice 1st Gear January 13, 2017 Share January 13, 2017 Anyone experience a weird sound coming from the back every time you off the engine or lift the P brake? It's a sharp screech... you can hear it very clearly esp if the door is open.
Kopites Supersonic January 13, 2017 Share January 13, 2017 Anyone installed front strut bar on their vezel? I can't find a one piece strut bar. Mostly two piece with a screw/nut to connect.
Wiiuwii 1st Gear January 13, 2017 Share January 13, 2017 Anyone experience a weird sound coming from the back every time you off the engine or lift the P brake? It's a sharp screech... you can hear it very clearly esp if the door is open. The sound from switching off the engine and dis/engaging the Parking brake are separate sounds. The parking brake sounds are made by the mechanism to clamp/unclamp the calipers from the rotors. The clunk sound at the back can almost always be heard when u turn off the engine upon parking. However I have had instances where I was parked for a while longer before turning off the engine and I don't hear that clunk sound. I haven't solved that mystery yet but not really bothered by it.

It sounds like a locking mechanism being activated.

It's a sharp screech... you can hear it very clearly esp if the door is open.Handbrake engaging causes the screech. Can be heard on other cars with electric handbrake too. Theres a clunk sound when engine is turned off. That I havent found out but not to worry. ↡ Advertisement
