Not sure if can ship Oils.. haha cus not mass shipment.. Quite strict on exports

shd be able to ..since I can select Singapore when I test by check out to give details and payment. below calculated is really cheap compare to any fully synthetic motor oil sold in sg.

From Honda USA.

its cheap if order 12 bottles and above for further discount

@ USD $6.25 (1 US quart = 0.946 liters) = SGD $8.83

1 liter = SGD $9.334

1 US quart = 0.946 liters (British imperial or 1 UK quart = 1.136 liters)

buy 20 bottles X 0.946 = 18.92 liters with discount total USD $125 X 1.4129 = SGD $176.61

How Much is a bottle of 4 liter Mobile 1 bought locally? .. compare to SGD $176.61 / 18.92 Liters or SGD $9.334 per liter.

So far nope. OPC cars are less desired when COE price are high.

Imaging if COE is low, but rebate $17k, the % of rebate is very high, But not when COE is high.

So most ppl would rather go for normal when coe is high.

However some drivers really only need to drive during off peak period, therefore it makes sense for them to save from the rebate & road tax.

Is the rebate fixed at 17k or only at a max of 17k when coe is above that. I always think if you buy a opc during when coe was below 17k, garment is like subsidising you for you to drive.

Saw a white Vezel OPC always around tampines area

This isnt as bad as an opc audi SK plate

In tampines too.

Own personal feel, i mean there have been studies done and also Vezel manual reccomends W20. of cus i would prefer to switch to W30.. If mechanic says because Japan got winter, dosen't mean Japan no Summer also right? I made that mistake earlier when i mentioned about it before.

TBH i know almost all workshops use W40.. very seldom will reccomend W30.. dunno why.. But my old regular mechanic also in the business for 30years did reccomend me W30 for my newer car. I did ask him when i was driving my old civic to use W30, he told me W40 better for older cars cus thicker oil..

Really very subjective, but we can't challenge the R&D and engineers who study them for a living right?

I agree. Its a myth that the recommendation is meant for winter country for JDM model. My 2nd gen prius bought from Borneo, the owner handbook also state 0W-20 for EO. Seem like modern Japanese engine are design for thinner oil. Most WS here use 40 EO i guess is bcos they are much cheaper.

You can do two things.

1)  get the accessory shop to wire the DRL light to ACC or

2)  get this module. you can turn on all the time or as per normal by selecting the appropriate dip switch.

bought from amazon japan. link is here.

https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.jp%2FIPF-%25E3%2583%258F%25E3%2583%25BC%25E3%2583%258D%25E3%2582%25B9-DPL-POSITION-XW-03%2Fdp%2FB00HV8VGNE

I am using #2.

DRL light will always on when engine is on and the tail light switch off during the day.

If you use the default Vezel switch to turn on the front drl lights, you tail lamp will also lit up.

My car has the jerk feeling but only when braking.. but not a issue so far, just a lil tiny baby jerk.. maybe the gear cranking..

TBH, most workshops deal with older cars like 5 years and older,(after warranty) so of cus W40 oils are reccomended cus older engines, wear and tear already so need thicker oils.. only ADs workshop and maybe certain workshops who deal with PI cars may have the W30/W20 oils??

Supply and demand lo, they dun handle much newer cars so of cus dun see the need to get other oils.. esp most workshops are small..

Hi, pls advise as thinking of placing order soon to secure the 2.28 loan. PI says going up to 2.78 next mth...

PI is asking for 10k booking fee which is fair and remaining of deposit 1 week before delivery.

Is the 1 week norm or can ask to pay upon delivery?

What happens if they failed to provide what is mentioned in the deal or the freebies that are to be given?

Should i get them to write in the contract?

For warranty, any ideas what they covers? What about thing like transmission belt, aircon etc?

Many thanks!

Bro,

The max rebate is 17k therefore with the current COE prices, you would get the full 17k rebate.

Some banks had already increase their rates since 1st October 2015.

Booking fee of 10k is ok as the COE deposit is already that amount.

normally it's 3 days before registration.

Everything agreed have to written down on the sales and purchase agreement.

Warranty covers a whole range of items.

* Be very careful with when dealing with PI's, there are way too many black sheep's that purposely delay bidding COE and delivering vehicles, always make them write down the number of bids that would start from when to when,

It will be good and sharing if you guys can list out those good PI and bad PI. So all brothers and sisters can have a look.

SIC SIC.. HAHAHA

I am not a PI and have no affiliation or interest in Hup Long.

I did not get from them because i bought the S model.

I would highly recommend Hup Long.

Not the cheapest but they do deliver as promised. No gimmick. No 4months, 6months...10months...late delivery.

Been monitoring the scene for 18 months. HL is consistent pertaining to delivery.

Go to their FB and check for yourself. Some PI only can do once or twice quick delivery but then subsequent one takes ages.

Normally they will need the balance payment before they register the car. less den a week is enough unless u pay cheque, 2 working days.

Every tiny detail must be included in the sales agreement before you sign. Even to the freebies, brand, item number, colour, quantity.

Warranty is done by workshop, so only the workshop can give you what's covered and what's not..
