Oh! the wiper garnish...

I've got it replaced already..

It looks the same as City's, but after comfirmation, it has got slightly different dimension, anyway, different part number also..So it's not the same.

maybe mine was tampered by City's owner who thought it's the same.. [laugh][laugh]

Hi There

I am new to this site, and I have enjoyed reading this forum.

I picked up my airwave about 2 weeks ago and loving it.

The only thing right now that I am concern about is the fuel consumption. It is not good, and I am thinking it may be the breaking in period that why. I am in sales and hence fc is very important to me. I have read the other posting and the discussion attributes the reasons being engine oil, rim size and etc. Can anyone out there share more info? I am curious about airwave driver get together session, is there one upcoming up soon.

Welcome to the club, you are not alone for getting poor FC. Sometime we have to live with it since we have already get our ride. As you mentioned your FC is not good, care to share your rim size, driving habit etc?

Hi Janstart

I have not changed any thing within the car yet...everything is basically stock, as it was picked up. THe only thing I put in was the leather seat. So the rim is basically what came as it is. I do more of city driving than highway, but I do not ususally travel far becoz I have a habit of planning my route carefully, not just for saving fuel but also ERP and parking cost. I will be planning to change the rim to 15" after more or less wearing out the tyres a little. My first full tank started at 139km and my next full tank (when the refuel light came on) at 531. Hence I thought that is rather unusual. Although the vehicle was advertised at doing 18km/litre, I thought base on the way I drive, getting 13 to 15km/litre is more realistic. But what I actually did is rather strange. I am hoping that it is due the breaking process. I used to drive a van prior to airwave, so I do not really speed, keeping it very much between 70 to 80km, and 90km to overtake.

I am rather concern about going to the designated service centre to do the first service, considering that I found out (from the other members on this thread) that it is quite expensive, and its location is very inconvenient for me. I have my mechanic, (a very close family friend) that I have been using for years and years, and I trust very much, to do the servicing. But I do not want to run the risk of having something break and not be covered by warranty. Actually I am not concern on anything being really broken because my mechanic said that the parts are not that expensive, and easily found.

So what do you think.

Thanks.

Suebana.

(edited)

Thanks. Just done my car boot floor matt (3M A) at $40, get from the workshop which my PI had done it.

Am coming to 2nd tank w mileage almost reaching 1k.. Now from metre, it show 18.2-18.5km/l. So far half tank showing just over 400km.. hope able to hit 650-700 when petrol warning light up (think shld b 37litre). May b this is due to the HW.. travel abt 70HW/30City.

My airwave only shows accumulated mileage but I can't seem to find any where that indicated the FC ie. (18.5km/L or 16 km/l). Can anyone tell me where should I be looking for to activiate this feature?

Many Thanks.
