Contrary to what was taught, your vehicle's high beam is seldom used as a safety feature to enhance your visibility. More often than not, it is a visual sign of giving the motorist in front of you a middle finger. Watch how a flash of high beam quickly turned this BMW driver unhappy: What Happened? This incident occurred at a Tampines Expressway (TPE) exit towards Punggol Road. While traveling on lane 2, the taxi ahead of the cam car indicated his left signal and proceeded to change from lane 1 to 2. The taxi continued leaving his left signal and started changing lanes from lane 2 to 3. However, before the taxi could successfully change lanes to lane 3, a BMW 535i emerged from behind. For some reason, the cam car decided to flash his high beam as a 'warning' to both the taxi and BMW drivers. And not to anyone's surprise, the BMW driver quickly became unhappy at the cam car's unnecessary flashing of high beams. As a result, the BMW driver gave the cam car a brake check and proceeded to switch lanes multiple times to be behind the cam car. He proceeded to give the cam car a taste of his own medicine - by shining some light on him. Moments later, the BMW driver quickly accelerated and cut abruptly in front of the cam car before performing another brake check manoeuvre. Was It Necessary? TBH, the cam car's action was uncalled for. At 0:08 of the video, the taxi was already canceling his lane change manoeuvre when the cam car flashed his high beam. Essentially, the cam car's high beam did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but agitated the BMW driver. In similar scenarios, honking is the better solution to alert fellow drivers instead of high beams. After all, the intended purpose of a car horn is to alert motorists of impending car accidents/collisions. Netizens' Comments Exactly! The BMW 5GT was created with a number of combinations of car types in mind and that can be quite confusing to what sort of a segment this car fits in. The boot volume has been increased to 500 litres, up from the previous 440 litres. Also generous is the ample head and legroom, which will make the three rear passengers very satisfied. Predictably, despite its heft of over two tonnes, the 5GT handles with remarkable alacrity. While the heft of the car can still be felt around bends, the 306 horses and 400Nm of twisting forces make it very forgivable. BMW's in-line gorgeous-sounding six-cylinders powering the 3.0-litre engine are also capable of delivering a strong and continuous wave of torque, allowing the car to pull away from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.1 seconds.

For BMW fans, the highly anticipated BMW 4 Series Coupe has been revealed. The 4 Series is the successor to the current 3 Series Coupe. In the U.S.A, the 4 Series is available with two variants, namely the 428i and the 435i. Both models have an all wheel drive setup. The 420d will be available only in Europe at the moment. The 428i is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four that churns out 245bhp. With an eight-speed automatic transmission, it takes 5.8 seconds to go from 0 to 100km/h before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250km/h. The higher-spec 435i comes with the 306bhp N55 3.0-litre engine and reaches 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds with the eight-speed automatic gearbox. The 420d will be fitted with the 184bhp four-cylinder diesel and is paired exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. The century sprint takes around 7.3 to 7.5 seconds. BMW offers three different styling packages which includes a sport package with gloss black accents, sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels; a luxury package with chrome accents, leather seats and high-gloss wood trim; an M Sport package with an aerodynamic body kit, 18-inch M-style wheels, sports suspension, high-performance brakes and M-spec interior.
