  1. Was recommended AIRSIM a few years ago and did not take it up then as we had Covid shortly thereafter. Now revisiting travel data options and thought of AIRSIM again. Appreciate feedback from existing AIRSIM users. Thanks. 🙏
  2. Hi Just to check for those who frequent malaysia, other than data passport, is there any cheap alternative in getting data plan? Most of the ICC only provide data for short term? Any advice on getting 6 months and above data sim? thanks

    AIR SIM

Came across this kiosk promoting this DATA SIM card known as AIR SIM at NATA Fair held at the EXPO this afternoon. It is a Data SIM without number. The physical SIM card is sold @$8 each and I bought 2 @ promotional price of $12.00 The card comes with $10 credit which can be used to purchase data for use while overseas. Has any one here ever used this card? Please share. img001.pdf img002.pdf img003.pdf img004.pdf
  4. Recently , i got charged with a stupid $20+ data roaming charge in MY when i turned my cellular data off, I have always done it when i am overseas and was never charged for it. I called the customer service and was told that is not enough? We must change the cellular data stuff and crap ??? I answered back there isn't any instructions on how to change anything other than to turn off the cellular data? It is not on the website neither anywhere and do you know what crap that fellow said? It is the consumer's responsibility to ensure that the proper setting are done!??!! How to do it when it is not told to me before? Seriously , consumer's responsibility to find out ?? How? Wah damn hot talking to him, if i need to change all sort of setting which should be done on the provider side , why do i need to pay them money for? Wow first time encounter this kind of thing , i already turn off data and still tio charge and they cannot even tell me where i served? Nor how i used it? Of course , this is not alot of money my normal roaming charges are a few times more but it is the principle behind it. Anyone else encountered this crap? Hate to talk to people which can't even understand , from how i hear his accent , sure pinoy. Kek sim ah. Is this how Singtel treat their loyal customer? If my customer service guy talk to me like that , i will talk his manager and have his head by tml.
  5. Hi guys, any idea which 3 telco has the best overseas roaming data plan?? Intending to get Ipad2 this weekend thanks
  6. Hi to all..... Firstly, let me apologize for asking this question as I can't seems to solve, even after calling the mobile service provider several times. Its with regard to the selection of overseas network. Why is it not possible to select the "Japan" network? Proposed solution by the service provider was : 1) Setting > carrier > " manual" or "automatic" to be selected, however, only can see automatic. 2) General > reset > reset network setting - to no avail, signal reflects as " No service" 3) Service provider reset the main system of my line (don't know what its called), switch off phone, do step 1) and 2) again, but still the same, "No service" Was told that the sim card might have problem, or the phone? .....is that possible? Any bros out there encounter this before? Kindly advise....thank you!!!

  8. Last week, when i driving home at punggol, heard a Taxi horning and then notice that the taxi driver is horning a cyclist (Racer bike cyclist)who is riding in the middle of the road. When the taxi came to a stopped at the traffic light and then came the cyclist stopping beside the taxi. Suddenly, the cyclist using his fist and bang the window of the taxi. I was shocked to see this as my car is next to the taxi. Then the taxi driver wind down his window and ask the cyclist what he want and was saying in hokkien that the cyclist at fault for riding in the middle of the road and still wanna find trouble. The reaction of the cyclist was "#@*!&^%CB^&*CB^&*)*CB....you know the rules a not...%&^**CB#$%^$CB"!!! Luckily, the taxi driver has a passenger in his car or else more problem will happen. After that, this cyclist still occupying one lane by himself feeling that this lane belongs to him. Just like to know is the cyclist really allowed to ride in the middle of the road the rules allowed them to do it???? Really feel sorry for the taxi driver meeting such arrogant cyclist.
