The two-and-a-half minute video, which has gone viral, is alleged to have been shot at an industrial estate in Klang. "We are in the midst of tracing the whereabouts of the suspects in the video. Our initial investigation indicates that it was a fight between a husband and wife," said Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat when contacted. The video starts with a man dragging and beating a woman in front of a blue car, while several people witnessing the beating are heard screaming. Another man can be seen getting out of the car brandishing a weapon resembling a machete and walking towards the two, as the other man drags the woman towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Moments later the accomplice opens the car door as the suspect grabs the weapon and threatens to slash the woman. The two men drag the woman behind the passenger side door as one of the suspects swings the weapon repeatedly at the woman. The two then bundle the woman into the car as she is heard screaming for help before driving off. 4. Was travelling along PIE at around 10:40am today towards airport after the Paya Lebar Rd exit when I first saw a big truck stopping in the middle lane then many cars on hazard lights at the opposite direction on Lane 1 further down. "Accident the other side," I said to my CO. Travelling further down a horrific sight that you only watch on TV or read on newspapers of serious traffic which always happened overseas: A big metallic pole pierching through the front passenger side of the windscreen of a white saloon car!!! Many folks have dismounted from their vehicles & congregating around the white car. Not sure what happened but if you were there on either side you would know how serious it looked. Just hope no one was hurt.

Some of the pics are not for the faint hearted...RIP to the passengers 28 dead in coach crash near KL Twenty-eight people, mostly Thai tourists, were killed yesterday when their double-decker bus crashed after a trip to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia's worst coach accident. Police said the Thai tourists were travelling along a winding road to the capital, Kuala Lumpur, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a road divider and overturned into a ditch. "The latest we have is that 28 people have now died in the accident, with three of them Malaysians namely the driver, co-driver and tour guide and the rest being Thai tourists," said Mr Zakaria Yusof, acting state police chief. "Nine other people, all Thai tourists, were wounded in the accident and are now being treated in nearby hospitals. There were 37 people onboard the bus," the Perak state police official told AFP. Images of the accident showed the bus lying crumpled and on its roof, at the bottom of a rocky slope. Nearby, victims' bodies covered with black plastic sheets were laid out in rows. The injured were evacuated from the scene on stretchers by emergency workers dressed in fatigues. "Our initial findings show that the driver lost control of the double-decker vehicle and crashed into the road divider before toppling over and falling into the drain," Mr Zakaria said. The group had been on a package tour that included a journey to Cameron Highlands, one of Malaysia's top tourist destinations, which features tea estates and strawberry plantations. Some of the roads to the hilltop resort are narrow, windy and treacherous, but yesterday's accident occurred when the bus had reached the highway. Coach crashes are relatively common in Malaysia, often involving interstate routes, and accompanied by revelations that drivers were unlicensed, speeding or under the influence of drugs to keep themselves awake. Last week, four prison officers were killed when their bus lost control and plunged into a ravine while travelling from a sports tournament. In October, a collision involving two buses, a van and three cars claimed 13 lives on the nation's main North-South highway. Later that month, another seven people were killed when their bus overturned en route to Kuala Lumpur. A year ago, 10 people were killed when a double-decker bus struck a road divider in northern Ipoh state. In 2007, a bus crash claimed 22 lives in what the Transport Minister said at the time was the worst accident of its kind in Malaysia's history. http://himg2.huanqiu.com/attachment2010/10.../a2284d1b4c.jpg
  6. Another horrific accident. Hope the driver's alright... http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...leaves_car.html STOMPer Ricky was alerted to the scene of this accident by a loud 'bang' from outside his window at 5.00am this morning (Sep 15). The accident left the car an overturned wreck with the driver trapped inside. Ricky describes the situation: "This accident happened on Sep 15 at about 5.00am, along Yishun Avenue 1. Early this morning, I heard a loud 'bang' from outside my window. "Only one vehicle appeared to be involved in the accident, and the car was overturned. He was probably speeding or something. "Civil Defence people and an ambulance arrived and worked to free the driver from the wreckage. An ambulance then took the casualty away. "This is not the first time such a major accident happened here. This stretch of road is long and straight, and is a favourite of speeding drivers. "I have written to LTA and the Traffic Police regard speeding drivers and bikers along this stretch of road, but so far I have not received any response. "In addition to creating lots of noise late at night, they are also likely to cause accidents here. "I hope the authorities will put up some speed bumps to stop this trend." A spokesperson for the SCDF also gave more details: "The call was received at 5.24am. "The accident had occurred at the junction of Yishun Street 81 and Yishun Avenue 1. "The SCDF dispatched one ambulance, two fire bikes, one Red Rhino, one fire engine and one support vehicle to the scene. "The driver was trapped in his car and rescuers used a hydraulic spreader-cutter to release him. The operation took 20 minutes to complete. He was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with head injuries in a conscious state."
  7. What a hero. What would your reaction have been in his circumstances? -------------------------------------------------------- http://www.wfsb.com/automotive/23515766/detail.html SYDNEY -- Dramatic video footage has emerged of a father saving his infant son by clutching steadfastly to him as a car strikes the man. The traffic accident happened in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith in 2008 and was broadcast for the first time Monday on Australia's Nine Network. The security camera footage shows a car plowing into Andrew Leitch as he held his son Hayden on a sidewalk near a shop front. Leitch's parents, standing nearby, were hit, and the baby's empty stroller was knocked flying. Leach held the baby to his chest as he was pushed into the shop window and had his legs pinned by the car, which Nine said was driven by an elderly woman who had lost control of the vehicle. As the car bore down, Leitch said he thought "if they hit the back of me, break a leg or whatever, that's fixable. But if they hit my son, he's not fixable." Leitch told the program his son was unhurt. Leitch himself was shown climbing out from between the car and the shop front and was not badly hurt. Both his parents were hospitalized with injuries, but survived, Nine reported.
