  1. Dear mod, please don't give me warning or ban my account. 😅 I am just hoping my long lost friends will bring me some good news during this challenging time. 🙂 ‘Are you jerking my bobber?’ Lottery winner stuns friend by sharing prize https://amp.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jul/23/powerball-lotter-winner-shares-prize-friend A western Wisconsin man will share his millions in lottery winnings with a longtime friend because of a promise they made to each other nearly three decades ago. Friends Tom Cook and Joseph Feeney shook hands in 1992 and promised that if either of them ever won the Powerball jackpot, they would split the money. That promise came to fruition last month when Cook bought the winning ticket for a $22m jackpot at Synergy Coop in Menomonie. When Cook called to give his friend the good news, Feeney couldn’t quite believe it. “He called me, and I said, ‘are you jerking my bobber?”’ said Feeney, an avid fisherman. Cook retired after hitting the jackpot while Feeney was already retired. Neither has any extravagant plans for the winnings but each is looking forward to enjoying more family time. “We can pursue what we feel comfortable with. I can’t think of a better way to retire,” Cook said. The pair said they were looking forward to some traveling. The men chose the cash option of about $16.7m, leaving each with nearly $5.7m after taxes are paid. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in about 292m.
  2. 10 Top Singapore Pools Outlets Ranked According To The Most Wins, For TOTO & 4D Players source: https://thesmartlocal.com/read/top-singapore-pools-outlets/ If you’ve ever dreamt of becoming a millionaire, the quickest way is probably to hope to the heavens that you strike 4D or TOTO. ‘Course, it’s easier said than done. Many try to maximise their chances of winning by going to outlets that have been “blessed by the Fortune God” or have good fengshui. But whatever you believe in, it’s best to heed what cannot be disproved – statistics. Here are the top 10 lucky Singapore Pools outlets and authorised retailers for TOTO, ranked according to their winning frequencies from official sources, measured from October 2014 to now. You can also place your 4D bets at these places. P.S. Before you dive straight in, here is a gentle reminder to bet within your means and gamble responsibly! 1. 5. hello, i actually have some contacts that looking for buyer to buy their lottery license. of course, it's not in singapore but malaysia. license is for eternity, as you are aware.. the price of the license has grown over the years.. it's really a good source of investment. profit, you will get your commission from every sales and winning.. operation is at penang but able to switch to other states with some underwriting. no additional tax or whatever. yes, license is for malaysian only but paper work can be done to allow foreigner as owner.. i know it's kinda impossible to obtain such operating license especially in singapore.. but in malaysia, it worth the thought. yes, there are a few players such as toto, 4D and Da Ma Cai. this license that i got is from Toto.. worth a thought? sorry mods, if this is regard as an advertisement. i just thought it would be a good talking point, since we buy flat, property as an investment. why not, a lottery license?

    Twist of luck

Like the old saying goes, you win some, you lose some. In this case, Connecticut Powerball winner Rahul Patel, saw his one-week old Audi R8 destroyed by fire. According to a report from the Connecticut Post, Patel was driving the German sports car in Fairfield when he suddenly noticed smoke coming out of the engine compartment. After he pulled over on the side of the road and stepped out to see what was wrong with the two-seater sports car, it went up in flames. Lucky for him that he stepped out of the car just in time! While no one was injured during the incident, the $140,000 R8 was almost burnt to the ground. Fire officials said they are still investigating the cause of the fire. Luckily for Patel, the winning part [lottery ticket] was substantially higher than the losing part [Audi R8] as the 33-year-old Newington resident claimed a $25 million Powerball Jackpot prize last summer from a $1 ticket. He opted to take the prize as a one-time cash lump sum, receiving some $12.5 million, which ended up being around $8.7 million after federal and state taxes.
  7. When I was waiting for my flight in Heathrow yesterday, saw something like this. Supposed to be some sort of charity. 1 ticket = 20GBP. Got bulk discount some more... Eg, 4 tickets = 70GBP. Winner gets to chose from a list of super cars, including DB9 and F430. Can chose left or right hand drive, and free delivery to anywhere in the world. Insurance for 6mth included too, if I never read wrongly... Was a little tempted to saw the least... But my luck in these things damn lousy one, so never buy... Somemore I only have 72p left at that time...
