  1. Hi, Wish to seek some advise on this. It had been 3 weeks ever since i got my ride, i notice our local drivers are rather reckless and impatient. Once again, i encounter this issue. Once again, it arise from overtaking encounters. Yesterday, on the road at boon keng, signal left in order to go to PIE Tuas entrance. This driver on the left lane does not want to give way.. I slowed down, he also did the same. and when i accelerated, he too did the same.. when i cut into his lane, he honk me.. and for this, he tailgate me with his high beam for a long distance... lastly, he overtake me and show his middle finger at me.. Since i considered a newbie.. i been thinking if it's my err.. and was rather shaky ever since as it could arise into an accident.. Was wonder if a probation plate display, would it give more grace to other drivers since my driving skill is poor and my speed is slow.

I got the feeling she hired very good lawyers AsiaOne Thursday, Jun 07, 2012 SINGAPORE - The undergraduate who attacked four police officers after having too much to drink has been sentenced to 15 months of probation and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service. Undergrad in court for attacking 4 police officers Natasha Wan Xue Wen, 24, pleaded guilty to using criminal force and abusive words on public servants, and behaving in disorderly manner. Wan is also required to stay at home from 11pm to 6am during her probation period. Her parents signed a $5,000 bond to ensure her good behaviour. She was warned by the district judge that anything other that strict adherence to these conditions could have her hauled back to court to be sentenced. At about 4am on October 26 last year, two policemen saw a bouncer escorting Wan, her boyfriend Lim Zhao Ming, and another man out of Zouk. Mr Lim had a cut, and bloodstains on his shirt. The two officers asked if he had been assaulted, and if he needed medical treatment. Mr Lim shouted at the policemen, and Wan suddenly punched an officer in the face and began hurling vulgarities. When two female police officers arrived to arrest Wan, she put up a struggle. On the way to the police station, Wan head-butted one of the female officers and bit the other on the wrist and hand. The officer who was bitten had to be warded in hospital for six days and given 13 days' medical leave. [email protected]
  3. SINGAPORE: A 19-year-old student has been given probation for stealing from an Universal Studio locker. Joel Teo Jie'Ao and his girlfriend Candy Han had hired an electronic locker at Sentosa's Universal Studio theme park on June 7. But due to a technical fault in the system, the door of another locker - with valuables inside - popped open. The pair could have reported the matter to the park staff. Instead, they decided to help themselves to the valuables in the locker which had been hired by Madam Lim Leh Kuan. Teo and Han, who is unemployed, made off with items including cash and a hand-held game worth more than S$2,000 in all. For theft, Teo on Friday was given a year's probation and has to perform 100 hours of community service. Twenty-six-year-old Han, who admitted to the offence in June, was sentenced to a month's jail. She was jailed for five months last year when she was convicted on two counts of theft in another incident. The court heard that on the day of the theft at the Sentosa theme park, Madam Lim, a 66-year-old housewife, had placed her belongings inside her locker, located near "the Mummy" ride. About 20 minutes later, she returned to find her valuables missing from the locker. She informed the police and security officers managed to track down the two thieves after viewing closed-circuit television footages of the area. All of the stolen items were successfully recovered. - CNA/fa Whatever happen to 拾金不昧?

  5. Drag and drag for almost one year still want to fight. Yesterday (12 Oct ) he appeared at Court 4...the case is still on-going and may be closed within these 2 weeks if fast. My lawyer told me this is not the same case as the other fellow (buang at paya lebar road cant rem his name ) The other fellow is a working adult. This Bimond is a student. Even if got jail, at least a couple of months only. Somemore he is under 21. Same lawyer told me dont be surprised if he gota probation. Singapore law is such that if u are under 21, can have probation and "BIG" crimes can suddenly be considered "minor routine offences" Look at Ris Low. Credit Card fraud and still probation only. But only thing going against this boy is that the public is quite fed up with dangerous drivers on the road. His case was mentioned in the press and the outcry is apparent. Therefore Judge may have to put him in for a few months to satisfy public. My take:- 3-6 months imprisonment. Even if 3 months jail, after discount 2 months and further discount on special programmes he only go in for 4 weeks.
  6. May 20, 2008 IT consultant gets probation for filming student's upskirt By Elena Chong, Courts Correspondent AN IT consultant was placed on 12 months' probation on Tuesday for using a mobile phone to take an upskirt picture of a 19-year-old polytechnic student two years ago. Ong Boon Leng, 35, who pleaded guilty last month, will have to do 60 hours of community service and continue with his psychiatric and psychological treatment. His wife signed a good behaviour bond for $5,000. The Community Court was told that the victim's 18-year-old friend saw Ong squatting behind the victim and behaving suspiciously at Kinokuniya bookstore at Orchard Road on April 27, 2006. After he had left, the friend informed the victim and both went to look for Ong. When the student asked to see his cellphone, Ong took to his heels but was detained with the help of a security officer. Community Court Judge James Leong told Ong he was very fortunate as the offence was very serious and would have carried a jail term. But in view of his medical condition - Ong has been suffering from social phobia since he was 15 - the judge granted him probation. A second similar charge was taken into consideration. http://www.straitstimes.com/Latest%2BNews/...ory_239238.html KNN lidat also can... anyone know of some unheard fobia tat i can consider in case limpeh kena smthg in future, got guud excuse to chut pattern.
