There were fewer road traffic accidents, including those involving fatalities, recorded last year despite the recent spotlight on serious cases of accidents here. Statistics released this morning by the Traffic Police show that there was a total of 7,168 accidents on the roads last year, which was 9.6 per cent lower than the 7,926 cases recorded in 2011. Fatal accidents also decreased from 195 to 169 or about 13 per cent over the same period. The number of traffic violations, however, was up about 4 per cent, from 316,214 to 327,503 cases. This means that about 900 people commit traffic offences everyday here. Source: http://www.straitstimes.com/breaking-news/...d-2012-20130201

hello, this may sound silly. i own a singtel miotv. i want to record some TV programs but learn that the miotv dvr could only serve as a storage but when i asked the singtel technician, he said that it is not possible to say download the programs to a DVD or CD or a thumbdrive. but could some tech savvy person kindly advise me how to record and store recorded programs on a DVD or CD? If I buy another DVR device, would this solve the problem? thanks in advance.

I have come across this blog documenting a pick-up driver committing handphone driving. The blogger has even videod the whole process as well as documenting the time and venue it occurred, acting like a TA. http://irresponsiblemotorists.blogspot.com...ne-driving.html I wonder if Singapore's Traffic Police would issue or has authority to issue summon based on the evidence presented by the blogger ???

after parking my ride sometimes i check my Apexi RSM by pressing the UP dial to see if i did rev or go faster than previously.. till tonite, i only hit close to 4000RPM and fastest at 125km/h. BUT lo & behold, i had a shock to see the readings moments ago! 2826km/h !!!! which means my humble ride, Nissan Presea, is miles faster than the Veryon or any F1 cars! but seriously, any bro knows how to reset these Top readings? cheers
