Saw it from "My Paper" that there is a Display Coffin Roadshow going on at G.V Plaza Singapura this week... I think they are promoting for a movie call, Death at a funeral... Just out of curious, what do you bro/sis think of the roadshow?? Will you gals/guys drop by thr roadshow?? How many of you gals/guys will be PANTANG??

Has anyone passed by the road show at Suntec? There's a yellow aveo5 there, looks like a widebody kit. Is that a show car or a facelift??

The Porsche World Roadshow is likely to be held in Singapore for the very first time early next year. Pending approval from the authorities, it will take place here to allow its participants to experience the Porsche brand. This long-established event is usually held at a racing circuit, such as Sepang in Malaysia or Sentul in Indonesia. But this time round, specially invited guests are expected to meet at distributor Stuttgart Auto's headquarters in Sungei Kadut. The plan is for them to drive to an area in Tuas which has been blocked off so that they can put the range of new Porsche models through their paces, as two German instructors show them the finer points of safety driving. Those on the guest list will include Porsche owners, prospective customers, and the private banking clients of a few banks. A total of 160 people are expected to take part over five days with two half-day sessions each. The privilege will not come free though. It will cost $328 if you're a Porsche owner, and $488 otherwise. The driving programme includes braking and slalom exercises, as well as a road tour around Singapore. Approval from the Land Transport Authority will also be required to bring in the special German-registered Porsche World Roadshow fleet. 'Holding it in Singapore makes it more convenient for our customers because they don't have to travel to another country,' says one source. 'It also provides better exposure for the Porsche brand here.' The German sports carmaker does not believe in traditional advertising and uses the roadshow as a form of communication. Such shows are also organised regularly in Taiwan and the Philippines.

Kia will be having a roadshow at Ngee Ann City Square from 15-17 Oct 04. Good promotions on the vehicles - $200 Taka vouchers to be given upon confirmed registration. Went to Compass Point and saw that Kia is having a roadshow there. Heard it's there since Monday. On display are 2 new models, the 1l Picanto and 3.5l V6 Sorento. The Picanto is going for like $200+ per month for 10 yrs, and Sorento, $600+ per month for 10 yrs. The Sorento is such a huge monster, one will need to stand on chairs just to clean the roof. With such affordable price, I see a lot of interested folks surrounding the Picanto. I din bother to get the price list cos' not interested in them. Are there any catch to the prices? Sounds too good to believe.

Hi all I just saw the Mazda 3's at Suntec. Wow! Suddenly I don't want to buy a 2nd hand car anymore. Must say it looks incredible from front, back and side. Go take a look.
