Rolls Royce Phantom holds up traffic because the driver claimed he could not pass due to a BMW X6 not parking properly

TL;DR – A driver of a Rolls Royce Phantom holds up traffic in Tiong Bahru because he was unwilling to scratch his car on a BMW X5 parked ever so slightly out of its lot.

Hi all! Just a quick one today before I leave the office. This one is too juicy not to share.

This video has gained 41k views in just 1-hour after uploading it on Facebook. That’s insane.

Let’s watch the 57-second video here.

Are you an idiot, sir?

The video begins with the person recording the video asking the Rolls Royce driver whether he’s an idiot.

Quote

“Please move your car! Look, so many people waiting for you! There’s more than enough space! Are you an idiot?”

image.thumb.png.8a83f46ed6e5937d22922304fb8df9f5.png

It really looks like there’s more than enough space tbh.

The BMW is parked just ever so slightly off the line.

If kena, you pay?

To which the driver of the Rolls retorts:

Quote

“Are you sure or not? If kena, you pay?”

“You want to talk cock right? You want to put on website right? You want to kaypoh right?”

A Caucasian lady attempts to diffuse the situation by asking him calmly to move his car closer to see whether he can clear the ‘tight’ space.

But he says that he wants the selfish ‘b**tard’ of the X5 to come and move the car instead of him moving.

Isn’t he being selfish too? There’s clearly enough space!

Lots of commenters think the car isn’t his. I’m leaning towards that too!

most people will blame RR owner 100% (as typical human psychology is to side the "under dog"), but let cover both car and look the situation again. the real CB man is the BMW! If you know this road at Tiong Bahru well and the width of a RR, there is really chances RR can hit the right back of BMW! the BMW is a selfish moron to park like that in that road!

The RR shouldn’t behave so rude, he could ask people around to assist/ guide him

lane arrow are always drawn at the centre of the road, I dun think BMW park slightly over the line as per comment in the article

I park at this stretch every weekend!

A diagonal lot with a pillar block ahead. Is not any easy lot for those unfamiliar. One need to edge gently forward as the left side of the bumper will come  near to the pillar wall.

In this instance from the picture there is still a bit of small space for BM to edge forward.

Both drivers go get a hatch car better.

Continental car drivers with poor judgement can no longer inconvenience rest of polite society in Tiong Bahru.

30cm clearance? Sufficient for you?

Perhaps with external guidance?

  • Manchester United's "promising" transfer window should be taken with a pinch of salt

Having followed this club for more than 20 years, I'm well aware that a promising transfer window does not directly equate to an improved season. Forwards Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, as well as Diego Leon, the young Paraguayan wing-back, have been Manchester United's signings for the 2025 summer transfer window so far. On paper, this team should have no problem challenging for silverware. On the pitch, the current crop of players finished 15th last season. While both Cunha and Mbeumo ha

The enduring charm of Singapore wet markets

I know I’m idealising it all - as a not-so-young millennial that can’t remember the last time he cooked a full meal for himself. (That was probably a good two years ago.) But moving on slightly from morning walks now, the space I’ve found myself frequenting when I feel like I need a break from the routines of everyday life (or to simply clear my head) isn’t the park. It’s the basement level of Punggol Plaza. That a wet market even exists here should be surprising. Punggol, after all, is qui
