Fourwheels Clutched November 19, 2006 Share November 19, 2006 because the impact is from the side. The car hit the tree at the driver side. unless this accord come with side airbag, then, maybe he can be safe.
Jaffa Neutral Newbie November 19, 2006 Share November 19, 2006 With or without airbag the rule is dont speed. From the impact it is obvious speeding is the cause.Live life to the fullest enjoy ur ride alive leave speeding on d track like Sepang or Pasir Gudang. Vit4wd 1st Gear November 19, 2006 Share November 19, 2006 Pratically everyone is speeding on Singapore roads. How many people adhere to the 50km/h speed limit on the streets and 80/90km/h speed limit on the highway? Traffic Police wants a good figure for their year end report - if there are too many accidents, they will step up enforcement - not to your advantage. Watwheels Supersonic November 19, 2006 Share November 19, 2006 (edited) Driver dead, 3 passengers injured. Airbag failed to save the driver. Hey dude. We can see it is side impact. The only thing seperating the driver and the tree is just the door. Side airbag only protect the head from the collision. If frontal impact at least engine can help u block. Kelpie 2nd Gear November 19, 2006 Share November 19, 2006 Statistics shown that collison with a tree is mostly deadly or fatal, deosn't matter which car you are driving. If you have to crash try to avoid a tree. Regards, ↡ Advertisement
