Turbocharged
Mazda has much better designed cars than Honda and Toyota, why still

so many SG or ASEAN ppl cannot be convinced? Taste problem? missing

adventureous courage to try something new?

maybe to us, Toyota and Honda still have the most reliable and fuel-efficient engines...

Agree wit u buddy. They have one of the best interior design as well but FC is the problem now. My MZ3 is thirsty now...but I'm fine with everything abt the car except for 2...performance and FC..

Many moons ago, back in 1980 to be exact, the Mazda 323 and its twin, the Ford Laser, in 1.3, 1.5 (Hatchback and Saloon versions) sold like hotcakes.

When Mazda started to go into FWD, the 323 was one of the best with good FC, driveability, road grip etc.

After some merging, the Mazda 3 is sharing the same base chassis with Focus, Vovlo S40, that's Y the western ver Mazda 3 have as high as 2.3L eng.( Volvo uses 2.4L turbo !)

To revamp the FC, Mazda had a lot to do with the engine and even some weight loss needed.

Anyway I personally like the design of the new designed Mazda s though bit disappointed with the FC. -- I had the earlier RWD Mazda in the past.

Yup, I see more civic, camry than mazda 3.

And both of this models are more expensive than mazda 3. [laugh]

Just goes to show that $$$ is no issue.

Will rather pay more for the superior brand & engine.

So I guess Singaporeans are not that hard-up afterall. [laugh]

Yup, rotary engine is great but too bad, it's quite thirsty! [sweatdrop]

But the mazda designs can kill.

Looking at their current line-up from CX7 to mazda 2.

Each of them is designed to capture emotional appeal of customers.

Also, totally no hint of ah pek in their vehicles! [thumbsup]

Having said that, current mz3 is arguably most handsome sedan in this price range.

2010? Mazda cars have one of the longest life cycle for a Jap cars.

I agree, perhaps only cars produced by our northern neighbours can win them in this area [:p]

Just look at the Mz 6 and Mz 2, only recently replaceed after 6 (or more) long years?
