No need....backup the file....make sure u put it in the Garmin folder.

I just check and found the cheapest from US is around US$190++, so with the current exchange around 1.47, it will cost me around S$280+ just to buy the 205W, excluding shipping back to SG, is that a good price

 

How much did you pay for shipping back to SG

I found another website selling the 205W at US$148 but it is from China and I don't really trust them

I bought 350 for US$256 at that time. Local shipping was US$6, but different case for me, since I handcarry back.

I saw 205W is selling at S$449 http://www.eastgear.com/store/garmin-nuvi-...vice-p-285.html

So you can compare.

 

But one thing is that there is no local warranty if you buy from Amazon. But I believe world-wide warranty is available when you shipped to Garmin Taiwan at your own costs should it needs repair.

For MFM V1.10, you need to join the maps together firsusing either Sendmap or Gmaptool and create as .img file. Copy this file to your SD card in your Garmin folder. You cannot have 2 Gmapsupp.img in the same folder. Rename it if you have Malsingmap's map in it. Since V1.10 is new, the POI and details are not as good as Malsingmaps yet, so as of now...Malsingmaps is better.
