Yes the S40 is a good car.

Droved it for 2 over years before i changed to the 525i

Powerful, nifty and quality built.

Solid plus super value for money.

Can consider Volvo. My SIL kiss the backside of a volvo last week. Her Getz front compress inwards quite jia-lat. Have to be toll away. [:/] The VV's backside only minor scratches, and small-small dents. [shocked][shocked][shocked]

Our Sonata kiss a Altis too. The bumper almost falling off. Back Boot cannot open. [sweatdrop] Heng our car's front bor-thai-chi. Some scratches nia. [laugh][laugh][laugh]

You go and kiss people, meaning need to pay?

Sounds good. The used S40s are really cheap.. really attractive... where are the specialist workshops for Volvo (other than AD)? Looks like a good deal, especially the turbo one that some bro posted on another thread..

Ya...great deal. But the servicing part really is a turn off. I browse through VV Forum. General servicing oredi costs 1k+ [dizzy]

Those major servicing @ critical milage easily 2-3k. [dead]
