Plexus Neutral Newbie January 9, 2009 Share January 9, 2009 Hey all, My ride comes with stock 205/55/16R Yoko A-drive tyres. Took a look at the sticker by the side of the door and realized that it was for 15" tyres with recommended pressure of 210kPa for both front and rear. Any idea what kind of pressure should I be pumping for my 16" tyres? I noticed that at the side of the tyre, it states max pressure is 300kpa / 144psi. ↡ Advertisement

Since the volume of air is less in your 16" tyre you probably add another 10Kpa to the manufacturer's recommended pressure. You can add 20Kpa if you feel it is not too hard for you. Kelpie 2nd Gear January 10, 2009 Share January 10, 2009 Do u need to have type specific rims for TPMS or regular wheels will do? I don't think so. Just bring the money . I've fitted them in 16" and now the current 17". The sensors are implanted to your tyre valves inside the tyres. Mine gives 2 simple and important on-the-fly readings, PSI and temperature. Also, my tyres seem to be leaking air faster than usual, 2 weeks it can drop as much as 20kpa each.
