Will keep the stock rims for now...was thinking if changed to 16" or 17" rims without changing bodykit also funny lah! But sure will drive & get the pillar black stickers done immediate after collection. then maybe later at 1st service better plugs & air filter. When go in melaka to visit in-laws then go & source for rim & body kit(brother-in-law will help) meantime, enough spending already--heart a bit pain

SGXora Clutched March 3, 2010 Share March 3, 2010 All the best to us ! All the best to yours, enjoy your new ride , now that you can experience yourself about the car performance, sometime what other comment is really not true. my advise, just be gentle when press the accerator, the pickup will surprise you, hehe
SGXora Clutched March 3, 2010 Share March 3, 2010 Is FC good for the Exora?? abt how? km/L? My Ex-Lancer can run abt 550-600 for 50L tank, and now my Exora is about 450-500KM (55L tank) depend on the traffic condition. you have to accept the fact that you are now driving a MPV , not sedan car . during my trip to Malaysia, the FC was satisfied (Highway drive), I hope after my second service, the FC will get even better. Finally. The exora is in my hands... . Sharing at collection centre, 5 chia ping road. Saw the car for the first time with no. plate fixed on- confirm its normal not opc. so they got that rite! hee hee Time: 2.00 pm Exterior- all paintwork good except 2 places, rear spoiler(paint drip) & rear lh door sill area-slight paint fade. Tyres supplied is Goodyear Assurance. Time: 2.30 pm Interior--all perfect except small cut on steering cover(suspect sustain during leather wrap) Deep cut on driver's seat belt catch plastic cover & finally 1 missing screw on rear lh door panel(replaced). All mentioned defects will be attended to at 1st service-so have to leave car for a day. Time: 3.00 pm Next SE go thru functions of some key features, check a/con, lightings, spare tyre etc.. Time: 3.30 pm All checking & briefing by SE done, sign documents with all defects listed on form. drive off. First impressions of car: 1. Road holding is superb- since running-in period did not exceed 110km. very stable due to weight of car. 2. Pick-up a little slow-but is acceptable by me, like what SGXora said- if you go gentle on acceleration, the gear shifts quicker than if you accelerate hard and that helps with FC. 3. Interior of car feels like I'm in a bus-soooo spacious/my goodness especially space between 1st & 2nd row-can walk around man. 4. Reverse parking no problem--havnt tried side parking yet 5. Very quiet! very little outside noise--only noise is slight humming from the engine when high rev. Shop doing the pillar stickers busy today- will get it done this weekend instead. overall-Very, very pleased with Car-no regrets!
Caaa Clutched March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 Congrats Bro, finally got your new big toy! Tried this Exora when attending meeting in MY (MY registered plate), was very impressed when cruising at 120-130kmph = quiet, stable, smooth, refine My supplier ask me to "push" the car when speed was about 80kmph+, happy with the 125 bhp that works very well As its just a few hours' drive, can't comment of FC but my supplier said if travelling between states (highway), FC is slightly above 12km/L, but if most of the time around KL (City drive), FC drop to around 10 +/-. Too bad, company is cutting our fleet size thus no chance to buy new car, not even those for MY used..... So did Singapore Pool "sponsor" some petrol for you...... ??? Shorty Turbocharged March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 wah bro...u took so long to check the car?...must b real thorough. i used the checklist found in MCF...but stil didn't take as long as u. however didn't check for missing screws. when i went to collect, i saw ur car. n there was abt 8-10 more to b collected. there was another black exora collected same time as me. did a few reverse parking...n honestly stil cant go in wif 1 try. parallel parking was not that difficult...as long as there's enough space. performance wise, jus as expected from an mpv. slow pickup, but i dont mind. brought my whole family out n it was gd. cruising is ok, but overtaking must press pedal harder. had slightly less then half tank of petrol when collect...n travelled abt 50+km. wif 2 bars on the fuel gauge, indicated km left is abt 190km. however..do u notice a buzzing sound from the aircon? i didn't notice it at 1st..but once i had, jus couldn't get the sound out of my head. i tink someone did comment abt this aircon sound. wonder if they can fix it. Panhard 1st Gear March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 ya! i'm pretty sure i didnt miss out anything- thats why so long. they should hire me to be their QC inspector. at my collection only saw two other car, one black bearing SJW 4XX & the other a white w/out no.plate. think most taken in the morning, esp. the opc! still getting used to the size...this morning my wife commented like sitting in SBS bus.... did not notice the a/con sound yet- will try to detect it later. this weekend will try the remove/install spare tyre drill. received lots of stare at carpark! got someone suddenly came up close to look inside- thought that he wanted to break-in or something then when i came forward-found out he just curious about the car- hear of it but have not seen it--showed him the inside & he was truely amazed, when told him the price, his jaw dropped- says he will go showroom.
