So far after driving for almost 600km on my A/T exora, these are my findings:

1. Auto gearbox very eager to shift up/down at different driving conditions.

2. Aircon very refreshing & cool always- even at night when set to higher temp.

so when this happens, will turn 2nd row a/con switch off.(that helps).

3. The stock tires- Goodyear assurance- quiet & good road holding

4. So far no unusual rattling noise inside car or at suspension.

- except a light single "tat" sound when moving off from "D" or "R"

happens only when quick depress on accelerator pedal.

(does not happen it accelerator is depressed gently).

5. No trace of any coolant or oil leaks- as always check floor below engine bay.

6. Find that wiper speed for slow & fast-almost same, not much difference (other owner pls verify)

OVERALL:Enjoying every ride, and looking forward to next ride.

Still needs to understand the auto gearbox shifting pattern to avoid unnecessary drag

especially on slight down and up gradient/slopes.

compared to the wira I had before my last car.

--truly world of difference, even my wife fm melaka

also surprised that a malaysian made car

can be so good! [thumbsup]

the gearbox will shift smoother after the run-in period...

cos now the ECU of the car is learning your driving pattern...

every car ECU has this learning system......

be patient and the rewards will pay off!!!

enjoy your ride!!!

cheers!!

panhard...i see that u hv jus missed yesterday's 4d 3rd prize by 1 digit. hehe. gd luck next time. for me too~!

oh...from ur feedbacks...u really a very thorough guy. i nvr even bother to check the floor under the car. mayb i should now. u r right abt the gear shift. sometimes it changes to may times for my liking. sometimes even shoots up to 3500rpm b4 changing. not very fuel friendly i must say.

The other thing you should check also is--

get the car go thru a high pressure car wash, as car is being washed,

check inside for water drip into car from front & rear windscreen, windows & doors gaps

& check to see if floor carpet not wet after wash

--another way can also leave the car under a heavy rain.

if any problem better report fault asap to service dept!

Though I understand these test done at factory level.-

sometimes may miss out at QC check!

This morning drove car till "petrol low" warning lamp appear...

notice at same time the "distance left" in km reading just show "----" & blinking.

at this point you have no choice but to find next petrol station to top up.

if I understand correctly-5 litres of petrol left.

So far since take delivery of car already filled $150.00.

worth of Ron 95 grade.- 1 L= $ 1.847.

At delivery, mileage was 17km. & maybe with about 20 litres petrol.

now mileage 620km.

anyone care to do calculations of the FC for me...

Never was good at maths!!

Your mileage is 603km.(620-17km)

$150 base on $1.847/l works out 81.2litres.

So 603km/81.2l =7.43km/l

hope is right.

Ya! think thats how its calculated.... but for sure its better than 7,43km cos did not include the distance still clocking

for the last fill up...so actually should be around the region of 9-10km/l. which is quite fair for a running-in vehicle.

Thanks!

Price for exora today advertised: From $ 63,999km manual, 3k more for auto.

Rebate at $25k- means next COE anything less than 25k then get difference back...

looks like going up,up,up. [sweatdrop]
