Caaa Clutched March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 ya! i'm pretty sure i didnt miss out anything- thats why so long. they should hire me to be their QC inspector. at my collection only saw two other car, one black bearing SJW 4XX & the other a white w/out no.plate. think most taken in the morning, esp. the opc! still getting used to the size...this morning my wife commented like sitting in SBS bus.... did not notice the a/con sound yet- will try to detect it later. this weekend will try the remove/install spare tyre drill. received lots of stare at carpark! got someone suddenly came up close to look inside- thought that he wanted to break-in or something then when i came forward-found out he just curious about the car- hear of it but have not seen it--showed him the inside & he was truely amazed, when told him the price, his jaw dropped- says he will go showroom. Think you not only can be Proton QC inspector, can also be their SE 1st day with your new toy already got referral...... One more thing - I am also very impressed with the aircon of Exora, it freezing! The MY supplier told me the aircon coldness can only turn to "half" (for very hot day!!!) and not "Max".... Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 was quite impressed with the Exora, space, package, price... i quite like the engine note, especially the air-intake noise...makes the car feel adequate when moving off... but when driving off, there's a little throttle lag...but i guess it's a safety feature... 125bhp with 3 adults onboard during the testdrive prove the car a little underpowered at times, but it's really an impressive car overall... but would wait for the turbo version...would want to scare my family members, with strong acceleration MUAHAHAHA!!! SGXora Clutched March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 wah bro...u took so long to check the car?...must b real thorough. i used the checklist found in MCF...but stil didn't take as long as u. however didn't check for missing screws. when i went to collect, i saw ur car. n there was abt 8-10 more to b collected. there was another black exora collected same time as me. did a few reverse parking...n honestly stil cant go in wif 1 try. parallel parking was not that difficult...as long as there's enough space. performance wise, jus as expected from an mpv. slow pickup, but i dont mind. brought my whole family out n it was gd. cruising is ok, but overtaking must press pedal harder. had slightly less then half tank of petrol when collect...n travelled abt 50+km. wif 2 bars on the fuel gauge, indicated km left is abt 190km. however..do u notice a buzzing sound from the aircon? i didn't notice it at 1st..but once i had, jus couldn't get the sound out of my head. i tink someone did comment abt this aircon sound. wonder if they can fix it. haha! can see more and more Exora on the rad liao. Abt the sound, when i ask my bro who own a Saga, he said this is normal for all Proton car ( Saga more worst). you will over come it la once you enjoy the air-con power. Share a bit with you, my bro ( Saga owner) complaint abt Wish when he sat on the 3rd row travelling in Malaysia, like sat on oven
SGXora Clutched March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 taking it out & putting it back- maybe more than once, just that. --thats the drill! i have not try yet, some owner say is better to check to see whether it coated with an anti-rust paint, if not , should go back to Pronton to get it done. Keep us update abut your finding

Ferraricalifornia 1st Gear March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 more air-con vents are really needed, especially in getting hotter singapore climate... these days, temperatures tops 36degrees... no air-con=roasted meat.

Here are the pictures of the matt black stickers to cover the door outer pillars to make it look like the H-Line Cost: $10/- per pillar X 6 = $60/- (using good quality oracle stickers)- scratch/stain resistant. Couldnt resist putting the stickers also on front windscreen - words bearing ( handling by lotus + nice logo) Cost: $35/- For those interested the address is : Midview Bldg, Bukit Batok st 23, #02-24. ask for Bryan Hours: 1pm-9pm. daily except sundays(timing suitable for opc cars)..call first at 90230860 if you like what you see on my car just mention the silver exora- he will know what to do... Panhard 1st Gear March 7, 2010 Share March 7, 2010 bro, nice and cool man ! any plan for the fog light? will look around in melaka for fog lamp prices...and may be sun visors cos it will make the exora more manly. as for the bodykit & rims, that will be added later..cos it seems still not very much bodykits yet & cost wise should be further reduced. as for rims to 16" or 17"..will let car run-in completely first to get better FC, Frankly, now FC is really high, dont even want to calculate for now.. its normal cos engine pistons still very tight. will sure see difference after 10k.
