If you are a family man with kids then, you will know who takes the 3rd row most times.

adults usually the 2nd or 1st row- so even if fixed 2nd row still fine. more than enough space

for kids back at 3rd row.

Anyhow dont have to every time reset the 2nd row seat in order to release 3rd row seats

to load in items--just push it down & there you go..if really an adult is seating at 3rd row &

needs that extra leg room, just tumble forward one side of 2nd row.. seating pattern is

very flexible on exora--refer to my earilier post on features---you're be amazed!! :D

Dont let the fixed 2nd row stop you from owing an exora--Still driving your H freed?

I am a family man, and by family i include my parents and inlaws and sister in laws, not just purely myself and my kids as per your case, so unfortunately for me, 3rd row space for adults is a must. I not asking for estima or alphard 3rd row space. Exora's interior space is so big (much bigger than Freed or Sienta) and so definitely enuf space for all 3 rows of adults to sit comfortably.....if only the 2nd row can slide. Y limit the 3rd row for kids if the car is big enuf, right?

I'll wait for the facelift, hopefully proton will wake up by then and add sliding rails. Dont cost much or add much more weight to add sliding rails, and rails don't affect the tumble/folding feature at all, if u observe how the non-malaysian MPVs does it.

I am still rooting for Proton to improve further so that I can own one in future, I am not a badge person so i dont die die want Jap or Conti brand.

Strange, if Exora interior length is longer, why is the legroom shorter at all 3 rows? Exora's boot alot deeper than Carens?

I think the boot is deeper than caren. [thumbsup]

i tink the msians must make some noise over there for proton to do anything abt it. so far reading their forum, no one has mentioned abt the lack of the sliding mechanism for the 2nd row. so i don tink proton is gonna do anything abt it. they r now working on the turbo version, which is likely to come out next yr. so...turbo version or sliding version?

Go to Proton showroom.. if interested in the car, whats the downpayment/deposit like?

20% from current selling price? (70k?)

All bank loans rite.. so presume interest rate quite similar?

yup...

i'm really looking forward to the Turbo version of the Exora...

but i think they will launch the 1.8Turbo version first...

and regarding the issue on the 2nd row sliding seats,

to me, it'll definitely be more beneficial in terms of flexibility of seats layout...

the engineers were saying the sliding seats would add another 20-40kg more to the already hefty 1410kg kerb weight of the Exora...

and that would mean even more 'devastating performance figures'...

so i guess they will do the sliding seats on their turbo models...

just wait and see lor...

am really starting to like the looks of the Exora now...

and hopefully the FL models and turbo-models will come with 6A/T, which is the norm in todays market!!

[thumbsup][:p]
