Rest assured that your gearbox would be fine.

I have turned off my engine in 'D' many times before, and left it in 'D' while my car was parked.

One safety feature is that the engine will never start in 'D'.

for white, i strongly suggest you invest on a good sealant coat on paintwork.....will make cleaning of your car easy.

just rinse car with water to wash again any dirt & wipe dry! thats all.

This thread really give me the impression that proton is doing work to constantly remove the niggles and problems in the Exora.

It feels extra good that the manufacturer's support is so close by....

and all the owners can benefit from it by a simple drive up north. No doubt 1 of the best things about owning a proton.

yes! after having the exora for a month now...everything is working perfect! only thing is FC is still a little high.

Tried full tanks on esso & shell-so far i notice shell the worst! now trying caltex...will know soon.

wonder if re-setting tyre pressure made the FC worst= all 270kps down to specs front 210kpa / rear 250kpa.

was this the reason why they originally set it at 270kpa.

i tink the work is definitely done over there up north. this car owners really made their voices heard. all niggling problems were brought up to the managers of their service centres. n they ensured that rectifications are done. n we can certainly learn from them.

every new batch i would say has the probs ironed out. but we nvr know wat new probs may surface. hopefully proton has done well enuf to keep away the probs.

i hv so far filled up wif caltex only. the last top up was for 50litres. so far travelled abt 240km n indicated abt 340km left to run. but i doubt i will get 580km for full tank. so expect the indicative km-to-go to decrease. keep forgetting to pump my tyres.

Hi Guys ^_^

Well the same old"TAT TAT" is back on again,so for now i'am waiting for the sound to become worse so that i can point it out to the SC.

As for the millage when in stock at 315Kpa in all the tyres i was able to get 600Km from techron 98.

After adjusting to Factory spec at 210kpa at front and 250Kpa at back now my millage is 505km.

I think for SG use i'am going to pump my front tyres at 230KPa and back 250KPa,just want to know if the FC is improved or not. [;)]

I experience same thing also when set tyre pressure to original specs--FC high.

But for sure setting it too high is going to make the ride more bumpy...

have tried the front at 210,220 & 230--prefer at 220, try rear at 250,260,270--prefer 250

can see my last filled up with caltex is much better than shell.....so now going to compare esso & caltex to

see which gives best FC...

Did any Exora buyers secure their COEs?

I was thinking buyers had a high chance to get rebate, as Proton set the rebate to a high $33,000.

But unfortunately cat A COE closed at $34,001.
