Just checked out the road with google map (see attached). Let me know if that's the road. Thanks!

I think so, there is a coffeeshop at the corner of the block before you go in.

Inside there is a gate, watch out for the timing.

first they think the monkey was cute and feed them, then the monkey keep coming back for more, when they stop feeding and the monkey got angry.

More will come back if the resident continue to do that.

I saw a scary sight in desaru when hundred of monkeys came over from the forest across the resort in early morning, something like the movie Planet of the apes   [sweatdrop]  [sweatdrop]

Those are macaques....fierce and wild. My daughter and nieces were chased by a group while at the Water Front playground. They were aiming for the titbits the chidren were eating. This animals will bite and scratch if disturbed....

I never like monkeys, always find them behave aggressive and unfriendly towards people. Even you did not disturb them and they would still come and disturb you!

yes...very fierce especially if theyvare in a group. The wan at WaterFront seems like a platoon mtc exercise. 2-3 section walking one after group after another all trying to scavenge the area for food. Young children will be the most at risks as they are about the same height as the macaques. When you stare at them the group leader will stare right back maciam saying kwa simi lanchau! If the young child is carrying tidbits the whole group will go after it.

I think no matter whether it is children or adults, if you have food on hand these monkeys would come after you and snatch them from you.

This one was spotted along Serangoon PCN.  The other day, while jogging at Serangoon/Punggol PCN saw one resting on the roof of the bus stop along Punggol East Drive.  Soon Residence of Seng Kang may face the same monkey problems.

Many years ago when kids were young, think 2 and 4, we went to MacRitchie. Just after Lim Bo Seng's tomb area, suddenly got a few monkeys appearing. Initially kids were excited, and so were we.

Then more and more of them starting popping out from behind the trees. And of course, they started moving towards us - must be thinking got food coming liao.

My wife and i quickly carried one each, and ran back towards the bridge area...

Oh, last night received a video via whatsapp of a monkey open durian to eat, and the people who took the clip got funny hokkien commentary... clearly in SG one...

but i dunno how to embed video here  [bigcry]
