hi all, i watched my video again and i cant confirm anything as i cant video the whole picture thus i let it be la..

Dont wish to be too exact in case of misunderstanding.

Just a word of advise, if possible......always be around when doing repair...although i know it may not be possible as some garage will tell u" it will takes long. leave your car here and i will call you when it done"..

thus you will NEVER KNOW what they have, or HAVE NOT done to you car even they promise or charge you.

For the enquiry earlier....my car video can still takes the procedure as there a gap in between the bonnet and engine..haha.

Invest in a good camera...it will always come in handy. Never regret my ITB100HD.

After doing some research online for reputed workshop to go to to fix my air con issues, i've thought i found one, namely Tomika. Since they have 2 branches, i thought to myself, maybe they are really that good afterall.

decided to drive to the one at bukit merah on one hot afternoo. I approach this man, whom looked like the boss to enquire about repairs. Without evening checking what is the problem with my car, he told me in my face that he cannot do today, too many cars. So i asked him if i can make appointment or how early must i come in to get it fix... he told me cannot make appointment, and depends on my luck. he has many cars leftover to fix. First, the tonality is crap. Secondly, he needs to learn a little bit about customer servicing 101.

It's not too difficult to be take a few steps back and be humble.

A couple of days later, since i am on leave that day. I decided to drop by the UBI branch to try my luck. I got there about 930am and managed to get one of the guys to look into myfaulty magnetic clutch.

After some initial checks, he told me that i need to change magnetic clutch. I was told to come back at 4-5pm to collect my car. I asked him, there arent many cars here, why the need for such long hours? I've thought it just need 3-4 hrs... he told me my car is difficult to dismantle.

I kindly reject him and told him i will think about it.

His response to me was: think, think slowly.

I drove off.

This is especially true if you go JB for repairs or servicing....

The boss is the main reason I turned away from them. Rude & arrogant chap... [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown] [thumbsdown]

There is a cheaper way to test relays than to return to maker and to make customers unhappy.

you paid 450?

change compressor oil and gas only cost 68 in other reliable ws..... so your cooling coil costs close to 400

I am not the TS and have never ever come into contact with Tomika. Frankly I am out of touch with the local market since yr 2000 when I switch from direct mail order to doing mainly cross border online sales. [sunny]

My aircon experienced whirling rattling sound coming from engine bay when it is turn on. Went to tomika UBI today at 0930hrs, a young guy and a old man checked and said it was Radiator Fan motor spoilt, causing the rattling sound. Damaged is 3hrs and $310 included gst. Warrenty is 1 mth. Oh, and 1 skinny uncle said he topped up aircon gas also, foc. Overall attitude still okay, but price wise not sure if it's steep anot.
