Only 2% competitive allotted. 🤔

I have never seem such a low % for competitive. Interesting.

Looks good, but the T&C states until 31st Dec 2023 !

They must be losing a lot of customers likely with simple clean FD's to maybe BOC or SBI or other straight forward banks with no TnC's

Can someone advice me please.

I thought of buying current open 6-month T-bill issue code BS23112N using my CPF OA.

Announcement date 15 Jun 2023

Auction date 22 June 2023

Issue date 27 Jun 2023

Maturity date 26 Dec 2023

According to DBS website, it will take 3 business days for the funds to be transferred back to CPF OA.

29 Dec 2023 is a Friday.

Am I right to say just enough time to transfer the funds back into my CPF OA?

Thank you for your help.

I am circling back to your question.

As mentioned, I have a T bill (using CPF OA) matured on 11 July. Here are the timeline. My CPF Investment Account (CPFIA) is with DBS.

11-July at around 6pm - received the matured amount minus $2.70 (maturity transaction fee)

** I decided to leave the fund in CPFIA to see if the bank will transfer the amount to CPF OA automatically; it didn't **

12-July at around 10 am - I initiated a refund (via iBanking) of the full amount in CPFIA to CPF OA

13-July at around 1 pm - Amount deducted from from DBS' CPFIA account

13-July at around 6 pm - Amount deposited into my CPF OA account

Not sure if other banks work differently. I hope this helps.

I just moved some to this acct. But probably will withdraw all on 1st of next month or the following months to use. Stanchart paid me 4.2 for the first month but don't understand their terms following month dropped about 2/3 so move $ out of there!

👍🏻 another option for those looking for better FD rates, or there's always T-bills. :D

@Volvobrick the eSaver is so complicated & interest crediting date is so random.

Don't know why the banks make things so complicated. Seems like they don't want my money. Maybe the Chinese banks are simpler.
