Giant sinkhole... End times omen?

Can explain why this sinkhole = end time omen?

 

 

I thought investigations say it's a major bad case of poor sewage design that lend to the softening of the ground and the soil underneath being washed away by a storm.

I think it's man made since it's too perfectly circular. It could be dug by ppl in ancient times. Who knows?

it could be underground deposits of limestone dissolved by a main water line leakage. as water spreads in a even fashion, a point leakage would cause a circular shaped part of the limestone around/below the pipe to dissolve and weaken, eventually causing a perfect circular collapse.

Singapore dig so many MRT tunnels and Changi Waste Treatment tunnels underground.

not sure if anyone remembered. back in late 70's early 80's, iirc there was a sinkhole that swallowed half a lorry. it occurs at High Street Centre that is facing MICA Bldg. & best part is, it happened before any underground digging begins.

 

i don't hv picture to support cos that time young, only witnessed it. thus if there's any folks from this era, they would probably recall such a thing that happened. so, nothing new if Singapore really becomes Sinkapore.
