Sb01 Neutral Newbie April 6, 2012 Share April 6, 2012 For those considering buying a M6, I hope my review can give u a better idea. I am currently driving a 07 Mazda 6. For about 9months already. Just want to share some experiences with this forum. My dad has his sonata, not taxi model. Comparing these 2 cars, I would say our M6 would win in torque, handling, Looks and fuel consumption. Though the sonata would feel more luxurious inside and more comfortable. But if u r looking for some corner cutting or overtaking on Expressways, sonata would disappoint alittle. We have some work in KL, so we often drive up. On the NSH, the sonata feels slightly quieter, but it u r trying to accelerate after 120km/h, I do need to push the car harder. But when I was driving the M6 up, I can easily go to 150km/h without breaking a sweat! Handling is really where the M6 shines. No matter how fast I am driving the car just refuses to lose grip. I have driven a few cars, from sunny, sonata, integra, forte. I think the M6 is most value for $, with practical uses and decent power + handling when you need it. And my car is fully stock. Tires are kumho ecsta. Cheap n good. Wear n tear parts changed is only the fuel pump. Other then that is just regular servicing. And I use semi syn oil, changing every 5k km. Anyway I bought the M6 because of its pricing, the cheapest 2L car around almost like sonata.

Mz6 not much of power?? Really?? I believe it really depend whether you want to floor your accelerator pedal... I ever "play" with Accord n Camry and Mz6 power seem pretty much higher than them. I also "played" with my colleague Camry 2.4l along NS highway and I can easily beat him when both of us reaches more than 170km... Btw, my Mz6 is fully stock... Cheers...
