Ajax_84 Neutral Newbie February 3, 2012 Share February 3, 2012 Have changed to ITV20. According to specs, it should be ITV16, so mine is 1 heat range colder. I changed all the fluids including coolant. It takes about 10-15 min of driving in the morning to get the engine temp up to the optimum level, i.e. the middle mark. Is it normal? My previous car took less than 5 min iirc. Also, I feel it's not as powerful after major servicing, which is weird. Could it be due to my driving pattern where I don't floor the pedal? Expertz 1st Gear February 3, 2012 Share February 3, 2012 You are changing to the new Mz6 2.0 GH/2010? The engine is very not very "zoom zoom" per say. Have a test drive....I personally feel that the Mz6 2.0l cannot match the K20. But if u refer to the Mz6 2.5r then :) Just like the older SP series.. the 2.0l .. is disappointing. But like wat davidtkl highlighted.....space and handling wise is a good reason for changing to Mz6. have been driving around for a bit now, the k20 is indeed miles apart from whatever mazda has but the sound proofing, engine vibration and suspension are way better than my integra's i'm very happy with the m6, some people might say its a downgrade, but i think its a major upgrade actually

Expertz 1st Gear February 3, 2012 Share February 3, 2012 how about the famed mazda 6 zoom zoom handling as compared to integra? haven't pushed my m6 enough to know but it needs a lot of getting used to, the acceleration characteristics are extremely different from my honda so i haven't had the courage to push the car round corners and bends fast enough but i'm very optimistic because simply driving the m6 i can feel how much wider the car is as compared to my integra strangely enough my integra is a light car when compared to the m6, yet the m6 doesn't feel even a tad heavy when moving off from traffic oh btw, how do you activate the km/l reading? i can't seem to find it on my car! Expertz 1st Gear February 5, 2012 Share February 5, 2012 ran the car alittle bit today at 170km/h the suspension settings are too soft, at such speeds the car felt like as if it were on springs, constantly jumping left and right! high speed handling on my previous integra was definitely better, pick up power is far better too but i maintain that the m6 is a better car than the integra filled up for the 1st time today, only managed to get a fuel efficiency of 10.6km/l which is very slightly better than my integra

Got chance u can try my 2.3. high speed at 170km/l soft on stock...hmmm nevery experience this...I am coils.....whack up to 180-190km shiok. But overall drive feel and handling wise should be better than integra

Mazdaowner Moderator February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 problem is not 10 or 9 ....is near 8 haahahaahah Remove spare tire, and have a good look at your tire pressure. Serious. I drive the Mz6 before and got when new, 12-13k/l after was hovering around 10-11k/l. The older 2.0 version. Totally achievable.
