But their service was always a letdown. Small niggles with panels never fixed. Unnecessary part changes etc. Still.... I wouldn't have sold mine if I didn't need a bigger car.

what bigger car can you get?

i can only think of SUVs and BMW 5 series or the teana which i really like but i think its too big for me

but other than the teana all the other cars belong to a completely different price category already

SUV. Needed 7-seater with a decent boot even with 3rd row seat up.

so now with COE at 78k for Cat B, Mz6 is POA? They were selling at 140k when COE was 65k I think... this high COE is killing the good japs....... I fear for Mazda in Sg. Not enough volume.

Any idea what could be the cause? Thanks.

my previous 6 also have this issue. brought back to agent and complain many times to different svc advisor and got the same reply that "its like that". according to them, they say that "it's due to the grip of the car to the ground is too good. Thus when u turn, the grip is not release and resulted in the sound".... <_<

The Mazda Takeri concept car made its European debut at the 2012 Geneva motor show today and according to Mazda design chief Ikuo Maeda, it will be difficult to spot the difference between it and the all-new Mazda 6 when it launches next year.

Except for futuristic design elements such as the touch open door handles, the Mazda 6 will look virtually identical to the Takeri. 'The 6 needs to have a sexy flavour, and it will follow through the Takeri's simple, yet alluring design,' said Maeda.

it was and will be a challenge for Mazda in Sg despite being a good Jap car

its looks are subjective and certainly appeal more to the younger (or younger-at-heart), but how many young can afford at the current COE prices etc?

so majority of buyers at this segment belongs to the age group which favours more towards Camry, Teana etc.

and price tag of 140k-170k...not attractive.. just abit more for the C-Class.

Even the class-leading Mondeo in this segment is a rare sight on our roads, and the Accord..another great car but have not seen a SK series of it yet..

I know... I went through the same dilemma when shopping for a 6-seater. ODC or conti? At the end of the day, it was about 300$ per month more for a conti which in the grand scheme of things for me, isn't that much.

But the Mz6 deserves a lot more sales. Its a really nice car to drive/own. And the new Takeri concept shows a brilliant design that doesn't look like its overdone. Can't believe they only sold ~200 cars last year.

just want to post that the previous reports of 12km/l are indeed true!

i just pumped 40L after running 495km, was very surprised when the fuel pump stopped

still find it hard to believe that a 1.5ton 2L car can get 12km/l which is better than some 1.6L light weight hondas like the civic!

Hi Sis Expertz,

Have you ever drive till the tank is almost empty(the empty light lite up), and pump full again?

What is the mileage that you are getting?

You must be a very gentle n light footed lady that why you can get such a good mileage.

Furthermore, you car exhaust has been change n soundproofing has been done which will contribute some weight to the car itself...

Btw, did u change your rims n tires before?

What size u running on?

I m driving the 2008 Dec Mz6 2.5L and I have never seem my mileage cross the 600km mark.. Usually ended with about 9.5km/l..

Thats why when someone say that they can achieve 11-12km/l, I was very surprise...

Anyone can enlighten me how to get such good mileage??

Cheers...

I drive an 09 mz6 2.0. I am getting 11-12 km/l. My car is stock cept for ICE + soundproofing. I drive west to east daily for work, try to stick to cruising speeds as much as possible. For your 2.5, I think 9.5km/l is quite decent loh..

Hi,

What type of ICE have you install?

Can it work with the steering wheel control?

Neutral Newbie

Thanks to all bros. The vibration can only happen on cement surface at mscp while I do parking but at tarmac ground it does not happen. The video belongs to some one else which I dare not do it on my ride. I can do away with it since it is not a major problem haha and probably be very expensive to fix it.

my 2.5 sdn can achieve about 10-11.2km/l

i downsized from 18' to 17' within original specs 215/50/17 which is the size for the 2.0

much more responsive and better comfort =)
