I am not looking at aesthetics reasons to upsize the rims. So 225/50R18 or 225/45R19 no difference from the original 225/55R17. It is the performance benefit such as shorter braking distance, better cornering with a wider 245 tyre that I’m interested in.

Lighter rim save you petrol. May get back $ savings for petrol in the long run to offset the additional initial cost. But 6 grand for a set of tyre is hard to swallow. I just changed my car battery after having my car since Jan 2019 - after 13 months. And my car mileage is 24000 km. I used i-stop all the time. I think the consumption of battery power is very high. I suspect it is due to using i-stop.

If you have a lot of accessories feeding off the battery, theoretically the charge-discharge cycles will be hastened, hence the need to replace is shorter than average.. That is the peculiar thing - I have not added any accessories at all other than what comes as standard in the executive model.
yachae00 Neutral Newbie February 20, 2020 Share February 20, 2020 (edited) Hi all, I am a newbie here and would like to seek your advice. Thank you in advance! I will finalise my contract and make the payment for the remaining balance this weekend (paid deposit already and got COE 2 weeks ago). - How many days does it normally take to get registration after the payment? - How many days from registration to car collection? - Any downside of End Feb registration? vs. 1st week Mar registration? Did you ask if you get the stock at warehouse first? Some times they can secure coe for you first before the car comes. with registration and pre delivery inspection, application of solar film and installation of dash cam etc, probably a week or 2 after payment.. also depends if you got car to trade in, bank settlement etc..
