Some Owners still have a Habit in checking Engine Oil Level..inc Me.

Good practice. Imagine the sensor didn’t even light up despite being well below the last dot. Could have driven 3,000km more till end of service cycle.

hey guys, driving a mazda6 now. the driver right side mirror cannot close/open properly again... 2 years ago, have claimed it under warranty but since warranty ended, may I know if there are any 3rd party outside workshop which can repair it? any idea the estimated cost?

left side mirror also seems to exhibit symptoms of failing too...

it's really an irritating problem cos I read that it's quite common.... just wondering if it's a product defect in the design...

Yes, this problem will keep coming back even if you change new motor. There’s numerous workshop that does the repair, can check with JDM autocare. I suggest to just leave it since it’ll become a recurring cost to repair.

thanks! anyone know if changing the side mirror motor will involve removing the entire side door panel? or just remove the side mirror and change the motor and cover back the side mirror?

This means you have an authentic mazda 6! Avoid going to car wash, or tell them not to jet spray the side mirrors. It helps to accelerate the spoiling =D

Mine in same situation .. warrantied repair on passenger side 2 yrs ago and recently on driver side for my 4 yrs old one.

Carousell is yr friend and mine was fixed by expert at Ponggol mscp for 110 but there are cheaper ones ... pm me if you wish for the same.

No, I am not going to save 110 and without satisfaction of less than full functionalities of my mazda 6 executive... new now is 175k.

Remove entire panel and complete mirror assembly to repair and test ... interesting not expected motor failure but gearing that expert claim will now last life of the 6 remaining yrs 🤞🤞
