Speeding past redlight camera

anybody knows if the redlight camera has speed detectors inbuilt?

suppose you sped past a redlight camera and there was a flash, will you be caught for speeding on top of failure to stop for red light?

or just failure to stop for red light only?

also if 2 cars sped past the same redlight camera, will both cars get summoned?

you will get caught whatever speed you travel under normal situation when the camera is activated and you fail to stop.

if two cars speed past the same redlight camera, both cars will get summoned.

i know i outran a redlight already, only problem is that i was way above legal speed limits during that run

so i'm worried the redlight might have a speed detector and i'll get summoned for speeding + run redlight

Think need not worry about speeding ba. Beating the traffic lights can leads to many offences. They can link to speeding, inconsiderate, reckless or dangerous driving or even failing to give way etc etc. But they will only slap you for beating the lights and that is their main intention and concern for road junctions. Difficult to prove the other offences and summon you for beating the lights is good enough for them. A major offence.

Anyway, have not heard of built in speed detectors. If have TP no need big boxes cameras, or camouflage themselves on overhead bridges etc.

As for the other question, me also not sure.

I have some experience before...

1. Unheard of

2. Failure to stop

3. Most prolly both because the angle which the camera can capture is damn huge and damn clear...

haha.. you afraid kanna sppeding AND beating lights ah?... would you also worry if you were wearing your belt?... holding a phone?... etc?... [laugh] seriously i believe only beating the lights thats all..

you like my friend who believes all the small little round cameras on the espressways and tunnels can measure speed... i do not think it can but i'm sure can still record a speeding car overtaking other cars or abrupt lane changing though...

knn you trying to hao lian or self pawn yourself?... might as well just say 200km/h up?...

btw theres you tube clips on the speed to hit which speed cameras wont be able to capture your pic... like 240km/h up or smthing... next time drive faster will be safer...

Please spare a thought for yourself. family and other road users... there's no glory in this kind of behaviour.

I agreed with redplanet.

If you want to prove a point, do it at the race track.

I think most of the people don't care how fast you go.

But I m sure if you get into accident, please hope that you don't cause any mishaps to other road users. For most of the people would probably curse you loh....
