Fireball0088 5th Gear February 28, 2012 Share February 28, 2012 8 hours! good damn 8 hours of jet flying... that's how much time I took (maybe it'll be lesser for you, for those who are interested in jet flying) to unlock the Air Radar. No wonder ppl are saying this Air Radar is an equipment that you must equipped for a jet. Damn! It makes life so much easier. Now I am able to see if the enemies are on my six or am I going to overshoot them. DICE really made you struggle through the hard way of dog fighting before rewarding you with all these perks. But it's really worth it when u r there. The other perks just before this Air Radar is the Rocket Pods. These Rockets have "slight auto guidance" that will fly very accurately to the Target as long as your crosshair is on it. It will disable any tank with 1 full burst. I was never able to do this with the primary weapon, Cannon. Even the Attack Heli is at the mercy of these jets. Now I know why Heli should not be hovering stationary at anywhere anytime. You will be a sitting duck and the Jets will be smiling while coming towards you. It makes me think twice if I should be flying the heli again. No wonder I see why most pilots seems to be so good, that they were able to take down any enemies easily, and they also seems to know yr location as if they have a 3rd eye. It seems to be true, really, that the superiority goes Jets > Attack Heli > MBT > AA > Jets. Imagine a map without AA (which all maps in Conquest doesn't except 1) and skilled pilots on your side, and the enemies had pro pilots on their side.... think don't even think of fighting liao. some maps, the heli will dominate the air. i think the wake island.... no aa right? plus no one wants to shoot down the heli. that time i need one more guy to help to shoot the heli.... dont think i want to play jets.... have they fix the A10 issue? Sorry, I mean the AA vehicle to be exact. I am not sure for Rush. For Conquest, only Wake Island map has AA vehicle. The rest of the maps (with aircraft) have stationary AA, which is good for defense only, as in it is located at the home deployment area. Yes, u need at least 2 person to use the stinger to take down the heli especially when both pilot and gunner are using counter measures. Actually I hv not enjoyed flying the jets until my last unlock. It's really a pain in the beginning. the A10 glitch is still around, next patch will fix it. But it's only available in Rush mode. Is it true that there's only 1 jet per side, if that Rush map has jets? That time I was trying to spawn in the Frogfoot, waited for ages and our teammate is still flying it like nobody business. I am not looking at saving money here , but I heard the old one's better.. So bros.. Suggestions please..
