Need comments on noise problem

got some low noise but i didnt know so serious. when the noise became very loud, it was too late

Tyre problem can be rectified by travelling your car on the smooth road.

 

if problem still exist, check your tyre alignment by computer at any workshop, sometimes misalighment could cause the problem

 

i do not think it is the suspection problem as the car is just 3 yrs old, pretty new though

normally suspection can last for more than 7 years

noticed tt my altis is noiser than my bro's

my mum say my car got aeroplane noise...

mine is 05.. using oz rims... his 06.. stock rim....

Dear experts,

 

I am a newbie in car servicing but mine is a 2nd hand 3 yo Honda Stream RSZ.

 

My ride is usually bumpy and I can feel the noise within the car if going up to 80+ kph.

 

Is it due to the suspension, vibration in the tyres (have changed since last servicing in July) or soundproofing problems?

 

Please give me your comments.

high pitch aeroplane sound should be bearings.

if you say like plane takeoff... woooooo sound... its da tyres or wheel bearings.

 

does it have a V shape pattern? if yes, tyres is quite likely the culprit.

 

if not, maybe check the bearings (especially rear)

How reliable is the workshop when they checked the bearings? I was told because the car is jacked up, no weights r on the wheels so turning the wheels won't be able to detect the bearings fault early. My car still have a "flipping" sound after I serviced my car. Not sure if I want to change the tyres now. It definitely sounded like the wheels are wobbling at high speed though I don't feel anything except the sound

does the airplane sound increase when you increase the throttle and decrease when you let off the throttle. And noise is particularly noisy when engine is cold.....?
