Just saw a few truck load of 318 & X3 leaving the above warehouse this morning, probably ready to be handed over to the buyers in the next few days.

Just curious, where is this warehouse?

Thought of getting the 520 from the sas. 20k off the list price sounds good.

How much do pml usually offers from list price for those regular cars ?

One of my office is very near to that area.

BTW, around that zone, there are few other new car storage facilities for Toyota, Mazda, Peugeot, Ford & Nissan. Just saw a new (face lifted) Toyota Avanza last week.

what is bad and what is good?

if the price is really good ... then buy and pray hard lor

even brand new car can get lemon

as long as the discount is "worth it" ... else ... why even bother

Anyone has collected the SAS cars already? It has been one week since the airshow finished. Is the condition as bad as what it is described in this thread?

Saw new 3 series on display in BMW showroom last week. The signboard stated SAS cars. Don't know if those also have been used for air show already or not.

Collecting the Airshow 2016 BMW 318 mineral white next week, COE secured already at $46970. Purchased at $146800.

SE say almost all the 318 is fully booked, left a few colours like dark blue, silver and alpine white.

Posting here just to prove a point that there's nothing embarassed about buying the airshow car, the savings are quite significant and their overtrade for my 9 year old car was almost unheard of, higher than Audi's overtrade for their new ex-stock A4.

i agree. i was contemplating the airshow car, but due to my travelling schedule, i only got back on Monday, and most of the cars have been sold. (on top of that, PML offered me a meagre $90k trade in for my car, which doesnt make sense - esp since C&C offered 30% more than them).

i would have also not been embarrassed to buy this car .. but i was hoping to get a bit more trade in value so my top up wouldnt be as much ... but no chance. so most likely, i will have to bite the bullet, pay my next car servicing (approx $10-12k) and drive my car for another 2 years and see if COE prices come down.

Yeah, I had a hard time trying to squeeze more overtrade for my car too, the SE say the price already lowered as compared to brand new, very hard to give more.

I'm pretty sure the COE prices will come down around the end of this year, by then the 318 will probably be around the airshow price and with new model coming out in 2018, probably clearance sale in 2017. But your current vehicle will also not get high trade in value as new cars are cheaper too. Now it's the transition from buy high sell high to buy low sell low environment.

Last time in HWZ, cars & cars..........there was a guy who always emphasized how cars are treated at the wharves. Hence, he always say no need to run in the car. Rev the car on a need-to basis will do. Don't have to be to anal about the. The chap also posted pics of the the cars loading up & down ramps at the wharves....

I have to say though once I got PML to swap the exhaust, the driver drove down to LTA with a lot of care (they forgot to discon the camera). Only thing is the driver drove without seatbelt and endured the annoying beep for 25 mins lol Edited by Mercury1

Maybe its also their SOP.  The non usage of belt is intended, as the constant periodic beep is to remind them to drive w xtra care.   lol.

These should be the Jag XJ event car, about 30k cheaper from the suggested retail price.

Is yours also a BMW? What series and how many years already, and why is the next serving fee so high?
