tot of doing near the playground and multi purpose shelter. there is grass patch there, bring a few chairs and plastic table to bbq and eat there with frens.

 

mscp carpark not convenient cos got car coming in and out. the bbq pits i tok about is sold in carrefour, can be oush along as trolley

Probably illegal but town council or police won't care. Unless a resident complains because of the noise, litter or smoke.

Basically we don't own the grass patch downstairs... so probably not legal to set up BBQ there.

 

But if you have a large field nearby... then maybe can try "guerilla BBQ" ?? Strike quickly and leave... The idea is to minimise complaints.

Best to do it during the chinese 7th month, as everybody is burning paper everywhere, on grass patch, pavement, drain. Town council and police will definitely close one eye then

By right, it's not allowed w/o permit.

 

By left, you can still do it w/o permit provided you keep the place tidy and clean + if police or any TC officers come to shoo you away, please quiet quiet pack up and walk away. Please do not attempt to argue. Else, you will be charged with obstruction of civil servant's duties.
