  1. Just received calls from my friend - Wira 1.3M $39,988! Looks like now more and more car price moving below $40K mark
  2. When buying ciggies and alcohol. http://www.straitstimes.com/breaking-news/singapore/story/look-younger-40-show-ic-buy-alcohol-cigarettes-20131130 THOSE who look younger than 40 will now have to produce their identification cards to prove that they are aged 18 or older before they are allowed to buy cigarettes or alcohol at 7-Eleven outlets. Counter staff will then record their birth dates in the computer system. Anyone found to be under 18 will not be allowed to buy the items. The trial, which began last week, is part of plans by Dairy Farm Singapore, which owns more than 530 7-Eleven stores, to stop underage youngsters from obtaining cigarettes and alcohol. 7-Eleven outlets in petrol stations are not included in the trial. Previously, 7-Eleven staff asked only those who looked under 18 to produce ID to verify their age.
  3. Dear all, Thank you for your interest in this budget thread on car cam recorder. The price range of car cam can be as cheap as $35 all the way to $450. After reading many post, seem like this technology very not stable a lot problem even the exp one. I know many say is memory card issue. I really like to see and hear from those using the below $150 car cam recorder share their problem and their ups. It will be good if you can provide the brand, model and price too. Thank you for your time and bandwidth. Regards, Rustyz

  11. There are three options given Child restraints Or Booster seats cushions Or Adjustable seat belts. According to the police age is no longer the criteria, height is. I assume a child restraints are those mini seats with full back rest type. And booster seats cushions are just the backside bottom seat. Two questions. So I want to know what is adjustable seat belts? Can a sofa square cushion considered as booster seats cushion? Or must buy some approved booster seats?

My wife suggested to bring him to buffet and since I like raw oyster, was try to 1 stone kill 2 bird, bring them for a buffet with Oyster... but my wife family is quite big... total 8 pax (incl her auntie n uncle). plus myself n my wife n my kids, total 10 adults n 3 kids... quite ex for me. 20. At least once in your life - maybe even once a week or once a day for that matter - you have fantasized about coming into a lot of money. What would you do if you were worth millions or even billions? Believe it or not there are millionaires and billionaires among us who masquerade as relatively normal, run-of-the-mill people. Take a peek at some of the most frugal wealthy people in the world. Warren Buffett Millions of people read Buffett's books and follow his firm, Berkshire Hathaway's, every move. But the real secret to Buffett's personal fortune may be his penchant for frugality. Buffett, who is worth an estimated $47 billion, eschews opulent homes and luxury items. He and his wife still live in their modest home in Omaha, Nebraska which they purchased for just $31,500 more than 50 years ago. Although he's dined in the best restaurants around the globe, given the choice he would opt for a good burger and fries accompanied by a cold cherry Coke. When asked why he doesn't own a yacht he responded "Most toys are just a pain in the neck." (Find out how he went from selling soft drinks to buying up companies and making billions of dollars. Carlos Slim While most of the world is very familiar with Bill Gates, the name Carlos Slim rarely rings a bell. But it's a name worth knowing. Slim, who is a native of Mexico, was just named the world's richest billionaire
  21. As above. Being used as 2nd car for weekends with pets. Thanks.
  22. Just like road tax. Group B COE should be limited to 3000CC and below so those super rich peepur who can afford big Mercs and BMW and Lambos won't take up the COE. They will instead go for Open Cat instead. Then they can go bid 1 million for the COE. What do you think?
