Twincharged

Registered with the school on 25th august 08. Took BTT 1 week later. Tried to go for as many lessons as possible and passed my TP on first try in October 08. Luckily at that time still can change TP date and get refund. Managed to find a friend who could not make it for his test and got his practical test date instead. [laugh]

But nowadays can't pass so quickly already right? Now cancel test no refund. Every test must wait about 1-2 months...

hahaha ya.....

i can just make myself happy that my car has never broken down (touch wood) compared to public transport. [laugh]

Because your car doesn't use cable ties, that's why never breakdown :D[thumbsup]

If you enrol with driving school, heard test date quite fast. Even wait 1-2 months consider very fast lo.

I concur as I was from driving school. I waited just 1 and half months between first and second TP tests.

And the school allowed me to book many sessions to practice the theory papers, usually can pass at first attempt.

Yea. But in the past if you are lucky the waiting time can be alot shorter. For me both theory test I waited less than a week and practical about 1 week also.

15yrs ago, 1 time for written highway code test, got my 2b class lic 2 weeks later, apply for class 3 test waiting time, one month, fail the first time re-apply for another date 2 weeks later, passed practical and class 3 lic. Total spent less den 20 hrs learning on the road, back den engage pte instructor was between $12-$15 an hour.

Back den mostly pte instructors, and they don't care how many hours u put in, anyway can pakat with instructor. They are more interested in the test and circuit fees. I remember I only spent 2 hrs in kallang carpark learning to park, the rest in circuit, not muchon the open road.
