its important from an art prospective. Also, the correct method in writing will actually allow us to write more beautifully.

 

for example those word in the boat one. if we write the boat first then insert the word, changes that the chinese character dont look like a circle or square will be very high.

 

of course there are people whose handwriting are like s--t (like mine) draw boat first or later also doesnt make any different.

 

haha, i don't dispute that but i will also say i don't always agree with the artist way of doing things.

 

a lot of them cannot work with other people or have their own idealistic way of doing things.

 

architect is another example. some of them design building with "artistic factor" as sole consideation. end up the building is not user friendly

in term of some cursive writing like 草书, iphone can recognise without showing the stroke step by step, but normally it does recognise which stroke come first before it show the suggestive words.

don't know why but seriously the suggestion were never near when i write the horizontal strokes from left to right but when i write it from right to left then they recognises. i think all such software get this programming logic wrongly that once the stroke starts from left to right it becomes a 撇

撇 is from right to left, left to right is 捺，so starting from left or right is important as i believe that is the basis of recognition in the program.

捺 paiseh, how to pronounce this (is it na in hanyupinyin) haha....the name of the stroke part, i return to teacher already. what about names of the other strokes ?

 

i know it is the basis of recognition but i was hoping there was something less rigid. and rightly so i found samsung (or android).

 

i can even do one cursive writing by writing the word in one continuous stroke and they recognised!

FYI - battery life still sucks

 

from 830am till now - battery life down to 48%. had about 15min of calls, made 8-9 moves in words with friends and replied 2 emails on my phone (but sent/receive about 15)

 

screen brightness has been at 10%, LTE and location service on (but no gps used)

 

from what im reading online .. the stupid phone is trying to sync with icloud over LTE

yup. if we can depend on spellcheck function to guess the word we want to write even when we misspell, no reason why the keyboard cannot make a concession for us to recognise the general shape profile of the character and prompt us with the correct character.

furthermore chinese words are nto like english words wheerby intermediate letters of one word can also form a word. example to type irony, iron has to be formed. so the logic of using spell check with each formation of a word is still acceptable for english.

 

for chiense words, saved for some word which are combinations of two word, it doesn't make sense to do spell check for partially completed word. hence, it would make every sense to incorporate a spell check function only when the entire chinese word has been completely written. this can be programmed by recognising when the stroke stops or pauses.

more like they trying to guess how the words are written to give you additional option for speed writing.

 

i will suggest, combining both merit together will be good..

i find the lightning charger is damn ....lighten fast, but i usually let it charge for longer time even when it is 100%, i find the drain from 100% take a while before it start to drop.
