Iam quite baffled then. since 520 is also twin turbo like 528, how did they achieve the difference in the bigger bhp and better 0-100 for 528 as the engine capacity is the same? [rolleyes]

Tuning and valvetronics make wonder for 528!

Between, 328 and 528, which one you felt handles better?

Both chassis are different. I think the 328 is more suited for the younger generation, whereas the 528 aimed at the family oriented.

528 didn't perform too badly in terms of handling. The heavier body makes it more sturdy.

Bro! If only it were that simple.

The hardware like intercooler and exhaust manifold make a big difference too!

I hope you did not buy the 520i thinking that a mere re-mapping will turn your car into a 528i....

I've plenty of friends and neighbors who own BMW 335i, 740Li, 535i. I don't need to go down to the showroom to test drive. But if I do, I'm sure PML's friendly sales people will welcome me for a test drive. I don't need you to intro a SE.

They may be your friends but are you their friend or not? [laugh]

I am not keen on too much power anyway! Very happy with 520.

WHat do you mean by this? what way it spoils the image?

For your info, it is more powerful than previous 523 IL-6

It is not cheap also leh. About 15k difference from 528 after discount.

Anyone that buy car with skg plate is rich. Even if there's a 316 or 314 it's also v ex. And there's plenty of image even though the cars are base spec models. Just ignore proton neutron. He only memorizes specs and talks of stuff like il6 good 4 pot no good, etc. he will also tell u one car is better than the other purely by comparing their specs on Wikipedia

Previously their 2.5l engine also tuned differently + different hardware. Same engine, diff outputs for 523 and 525

That leaves only 535 and 550 @ 341,800 and 421,800 respectively [bigcry]

Open up the bonnet & you will know why it is a joke.

That's why i am still carless since last year.

I agree with your comment about proton .... for all you know he does not even own a car .... he mentioned that he test drive the BMW 1 series with a PI and how much he knows about cars .....

We are all aware that the BMW IL-6 engine is one of the best around but comsumer has little choice now that BMW has stopped production for the IL-6 but went with TC for the entry level. I owned a E90 320i and I am a badge whore ..... it may be a 4 potters but I am pretty with the performance.

For people like proton, they can talk and talk ...... but at the end of the day ..... talk is free.
