Hi guys,

Would u all recommend to purchase a 981/718 Cayman or a 997/991 911 either as a daily or weekend car?

Both are different animals. Cayman is very balanced and 911 C2/C2S is real fun if you are used to RWD (especially if you are from BMW school). Ideally you should go from cayman to 911 to "feel" and appreciate both. Both are very good and car lovers should expereince real Porsches once in life.

On pratical side, 911 (leaving those GTs) is better as it has got 2 more seats in case if want to take children / teens with you.

All the best!

Haha. 911 AC fanboys say 911 WCs are not Porsches. But, to be frank, 993 is awesome and I would rate over 964 definitely . I would take it over anything after that. 992 is different ball game though - I love the ass.

Neutral Newbie

Hi All

May I check, since a Porsche cost >$400K, is it a common practice to renew COE everytime 10yrs is up? and is it practical to renew more than once (meaning drive for >20yrs?) or is it to change a new porsche every 10yrs? i am new and planning to get one soon. i have a steep learning curve, thanks if you have any recommendation for me.

of course. renew 1 cycle is a definite for all Porsches

Mine is about 7 yrs old, worth about half of yours $200k now, I will definitely renew when she approaches 10 yrs 😉

I am just curious, what Porsche you would buy with 400k and keep it for 10 years?

 > 400k

And he's asking for a recommendation.
