M8 looks more interesting especially now that it's confirmed it'll have more power than the M5.

Never had to change batteries for my cars /bikes since i got hold of a good ctek batt charger 10 yrs ago?

 

Charge to full power once every quarter.

Works like a dream for my cars and bikes.

 

Of course, i never had any cams in my cars either.

Cams (with parking mode) make all the difference. Before that I also had no battery issues whatsoever.

 

But the battery packs solve the issues if properly done. There was a learning curve for me - bad workshop giving bad advice initially.

my to-do:

 

- wrap the skinny stock steering wheel with Alcantara

 

- replace HU with one that can play MP3, Bluetooth, show Waze

 

- replace front/back bonnet switches, rear suspension bump stops and boot covers, etc

 

anything else good to do?

- will try sound system to see adequate or not, if not, maybe add/update amp/speakers.

 

- one of the horn is dead, should replace with factory horn or install aftermarket set?

 

- got any local shop selling LED DRL/Tail light cluster?

Assuming you got it from that Uncle with 3 wheeler at his shop? Ctek charger really expand the batt lifetime.

no idea when it was last changed as i just got it, but it's mileage is around 63K...

Bits of foam/sponge is being spat out the aircon vents.

 

Vacuumed the vents, see if helps, else Weissach quoted $3K to open up the dash and solve it once and for all...
