It is all about wrong expectation, isn't it? TS expected free and it was out of his goodwill that he would give $10 but got charged $20.

Allow me to give an example. Many years back, I was overseas and my car's signal bulb blew while my wife was driving. Knowing to tell my wife to drive to some workshop in ubi to change was a totally non starter, I told her to drive straight in PML and change. It was $20 for a normal signal bulb! It was worth it bcos I expected it and it ensured my wife's safety while I was overseas. And yes, I could had change it myself free! It is all about expectation, or rather wrong and unrealistic expectation by TS that all WS should not charge small jobs.

Few months ago, went there for patching.

Boss was very rude… like my 10 dollar very small

They didn’t even cut away the balance tube after patching and it leaks after a few weeks

 

I rather drive a bit further to carros for patching, try @ your own risk

Further up there are quite a few tyre workshop liao, how come you do it at the petrol station?

A couple months, I also encountered tyre puncture on Sunday morning.

Google for Tyre Shop that opens on Sunday.

Found AL Tyres that open 7 days/week.  I think PH also open

Tyres shop and ws that open on weekend or PH.

They are out to look for big deals. Any car that enter. They hope to do a major job. Like change 4 tyres etc. Change 4 absorber. Or starter or alternator.

Avoid the most famous 1 that open on weekend. Au__b---

If u go to them on weekend and do a simple patch 10 buks. Or change a bulb 5 buks. 

I can tell u. U see their faces.  Very disappointed or sian 1/2.

Which is why I alway avoid going to ws or tyre shop esp walk in on a weekend.

Just went to change tyres. First time there, service is ok. Opens early and ready for business on time. Will go back for good tyre deals.

Tried to upsell alignment, saying it's necessary (IKR). Just politely said no and they didn't disturb. No black face, nothing.

IKR means what😂
