First of all, lots of correction need to be done on your comments. I will try to list down for easier understanding with simple English and maths.

 

1. For itronics Itb100, our current promotion is $368 with installation and Power saver.

Applect(unauthorised banned seller):

Based on apple-ct.com/shop/product.php?id_product=16

218 usd with Power saver = 273 sgd + 30 installation = 303sgd

368 - 303 = $65 difference inclusive of installation.

 

2. For thinkware fxd 700 with rear camera.

Online Price 340 usd = 425 sgd, local Price 398 Front, 100 rear.

Total 498 - 425 = $73 difference not inclusive of installation.

 

3. For blackvue dr 500,

Online Price 299 usd = 374 sgd. Local price $470,First launch $520. $96-$146 difference not including installation.

 

4. For fine vu cr500,

Online Price 369 usd = 461 sgd. Local Price $599 with installation. Difference around $108.

 

Judging from this Price list ,it's pretty obvious that most of local dealers maintain an almost similar or not more margin for their local 1-1 warranty. It's a willing seller willingly buyer market. Some prefer local support while others prefer to have some savings but don't mind going through hassle.

 

Please do not mislead others with your unjustifiable comments of "carrot" and your hear say of apple ct selling 100+ units to Singapore. We are definitely not bleeding because of this as itronics is definitely gaining popularity, so explained our continuous sales, recommendation and growth.

Try raising the price to 398 and see what will happen to you. Bleeding manz.. hahaha...

Apple ct has been maintaining the price quite well. But why CW keep dropping his price like bird drops?

Reason is his price is not competitive. Young boy.. world is cruel. Learn more and suffer more.. then you will learn more.. debating is not the way to move forward. Lonely frog in a well.

I was one of those who bought from applect. Can you please clarify what you mean by unauthorised banned seller? From what I received, it is clear that this is the original item with no defects.

 

Secondly, it is patently unfair to compare your promotional price with applect's normal price. What is your normal price?

If he's banned as you suggested, why does Itronics keep supplying him and he even expanded the models available from Itronics.

When I installed the front cam, labour was $20. So front cam+installation is $273.

I've read the link about unauthorized sellers and the risks and those don't seem to apply to applect. Let us evaluate.

 

Purchase of stolen merchandise

I wouldn't know if they are stolen but how would I know if the goods provided by so called authorized sources are not stolen? Applect has managed to expand his range so it is clear that he at least has access to legitimate sources.

If so, then this is a very good forgery. He should start making fake iphones instead to maximize his profit. I have even inspected the camera that he sent back to me after RMA and there is nothing wrong with it.

True, there is no serial number on my camera but can you tell me how this affects the function of the camera? It doesn't so I don't need the serial number and applect hasn't asked me for it when I sent the camera back for RMA.

Item may appear new but contain internal water damage or damage from improper use

Item may never ship - contact with the seller may be difficult or impossible

 

Price may be inflated, incorrect, or changed after you place your order

If these 3 reasons were the case with applect, do you think there'd be so many of us here recommending him? He has proven himself prompt in responding and reliable in shipping. In fact, even after being removed from ebay, he has set up shop using the same name so it is clear that there is much goodwill accumulated by him.

i think that the only good point about buying from AD is the warranty however this model of cam has absolutely NO problems at all, i don't even format mine once every 2 weeks, my sd card has been inside the camera since the 1st day and only removed to extract videos, but NEVER formatted.

 

my suggestion is to just go ahead and buy from ebay. why bother to pay an extra $50 for warranty on a product that doesn't fail?

i've bought 3 sets this far and not 1 set has given problems, of course if you still rather the peace of mind then go ahead and pay the extra $$ but i'd rather keep that $50 for my next dashcam

for me, i still come in here and read more, so i can update some frens who dun come in at all. up to them to buy from PI or AD.
