Ya, you're right.. But I hv the power magic installed so it would cut off the power before the battery is flat.. So the continuous recording is for a limited time only..

Don't trust power magic too much, especially if you have a small or older battery.

You might find yourself looking for jump starts soon enough.

I came to this conclusion as well. Images are clearer in the mornings. Get blurry in the afternoon when the weather is hot. I usually park my car in the open.

At first I thought have to do with the settings (resolution, ev, freq -50hz 60hz).

U also using X7?

Those videos recorded after that are blur, think it take few hours to cool down n resume back to normal.

Semiconductors tends to perform better at lower temperature; higher gain, lower noise figure, better sensitivity etc.

Yup. Using X7. It blurred to the extend that I cannot see the car plate number of the cars that were less that one car length in front. [crazy]

I read in a few forums, even those better ones like Blackvue has overheating problem (ie blurred vision under the hot sun). I guess so far those really good ones like Itronics does not have such issue.

I don't have power magic, but I was called upon to provide jump starts for a few people. :D

They always tell me "but it will auto-cut off.."

The problem may be the cut off is too late for their battery to have enough juice to turn the motor over in the morning.

Same here and it takes an hour or more to resume back. <_<

Whatever camera you buy, do check your camera's recordings every now and then.

Don't wait till after an accident and you *need* the recording, then discover that your camera was a dud.......

Ya.. true.. so need to do some SDCard housekeeping once in a while.. check and then format the card sometimes..

the only nuisance for me is that I cannot view the AVi files directly on my HU via the USB, bec my HU cannot read the files AVI version (think is encoded in MJpeg)..
