Must be a design issue.

 

My hublot rubber strap had the same issue too, except it didnt break at the holes but nearer to the bezel.

local sets lowest will be 10k more likely above 10.5k

overseas sets will be in the region of 9.2k thereabouts

Depends on what your daily job entails.

 

I have a friend, also an SE, he wears a steel Daytona for his daily "rough use" watch.

A steel Daytona makes a good daily beater for sure. Not surprising at all.

 

It is one of my daily beaters too, including the full gold GMT.

Between the 42mm explorer 2 and a older non ceremic TT Sub which will you guys go for? I am leaning towards the E2 becos Subs are really getting too common

i like the older sub actually. it's a timeless classic.

 

i have a 14060M. ND sub. still lovin it [;)]

Get the one you like, regardless of what others say.

 

My choice is an SS Sub.

It is the first Rolex i bought anyway.

 

If you are concerned with being less common, go for a solid gold one....

Its not a very popular model though, can get about 25% off if you give the boutique a miss, around 20k.

That's right I have about 175k in cash left after blowing 100k buying my wife multiples bags and a Rolex, but indeed my budget is 10k because I love my wife more than myself
